I was inspired to go digging up some humanized Flim and Flam that I'd seen before (there is a fair bit of it and some is quite good; better clothing, if nothing else. This picture is... more of a parody, so it's intentionally awkward.) Their designs in the official short are better than anyone feared, but they're still delightfully weird.
Then I stumbled into DeviantArt, as one does, and got distracted by so many ponies. I went overboard, and yes. Most of these are super old, so you've already seen them. I know there is also the favorites button, but I wanted to have these here. 
Note: I didn't draw any of these pictures. I simply felt like sharing and my user page is full of crap already (although I might swap some in and out later.) Links to sources are under the images. 
First: Stupid Sexy Flim and Flam (because daaaaaanng boys.)
I haven't read the fic this is based on but just look at them. I can totally believe they would do something like this. Sometimes they're ruthless, but mostly they're just silly.
I am absolutely in favor of FlimApplejackFlam because my will is weak. Same for them paired with anyone else. Twins + Polyamory = Unrealistic Winning.
Dressing or undressing? I guess that is the question.
That is my head canon, that they sleep nude. I mean, who doesn't enjoy that? Except maybe in winter?
I can't help enjoying it when they look evil. There is something wrong with me. It's not that I love bad boys; I just love hilarious jerks regardless of gender.
That Grin is Made of Win. Trixie's expression just adds to the humor. She so mad!
Those eyes haunt me but they're still so cute... I have problems with objectiveness. 
Augh! And I thought the other ones looked demonic? Sweet Jumpin' Jimmies and Celestia in a Side Car, those are some... smoldering looks. W-what are we doing? Guys? My girly bits are getting confused now. Moving on!

Pffft. I prefer them looking more on-model, but I love their expressiveness here. That is them to a tee!
Well, she does love cider and singing and dancing. Their frivolity also warrants love. Now, if they could just be friendlier across the board, everyone would be happy.
Because I can easily see them being mean-spirited when humorous as well.

I imagined that Jan would be younger. I don’t think Flim and Flam would make good older brothers.
I have to agree. That would probably be a torturous childhood, growing up in their shadow. It's a big shadow. 
We'll just pretend for a few minutes that they're charming and upstanding young stallions.
Also, remember their silliness.
Gosh I feel so bad for not finding anything inspired by Leap of Faith. Well... anything I can post here. I don't try hard enough, but I already wasted so much time as it is.

I enjoyed these so much! Y'know, I actually went looking for some of these yesterday, too, but glad you shared some more.
Caught in Electric Bass Guitar Magical Girl Blast Flam is pretty good, too, and I wish someone would ponify it.
Now, if only someone would do fan art of the Justices Flim and Flam--and not because I'm an egotist. I just really like the Justices.

Yup! It's this one. Fantastic art, but it hasn't been updated in forever. Still good. The artist is on DA and might be updating more there. I'm not sure. They drew some Breaking Bad with Flam and Rainbow Dash that made me LOL but I opted not to add them in here.

His moustache really does look amazing on human Flam. Flim looks weird without one.
I felt bad for not adding in some of the really good human pics, but the truth is? I actually really prefer the EQG skin-tones now and for some reason I think it looks good on Flim and Flam. I'll admit their overall body design is kind of odd, but it's growing on me.
There were more pony pics I could have added but... I think I reached a saturation point.
I meant to find a super cute Flim, Flam, Trixie pic that I've seen as a fanfic cover, but it wasn't sourced. Got distracted though. It's one of the few blushing couples(trio?) pics that I unabashedly like anyway.

I only have one minor complaint, and that is that AJ's bass could not have made those noises. Since I'm arguing for the sake of the workings of any electronic instrument, barring a few like electronic pianos and keyboards, these instruments require being plugged into an amplifier, which provides the actual sound of the instrument. If you haven't tried playing an electrical guitar or bass without it being plugged in, you'll notice that the sound is essentially non-existent. Unlike a conventional guitar, an amp is required to play the instrument, in any sense, because of the design. In a traditional guitar, (an acoustic), the sound is created by vibrations over a hollow body, which causes the vibrations to bounce around, and amplify, as they leave. An electric guitar, as well as a bass, do not have a hollow body. Nor do they have an opening for the sound waves to enter and exit. Other than that one minor detail, it's all good.

Yeah, I ignored that myself, but I think it was in the back of my mind at the beginning. I rolled with it, because I'm assuming AJ is powering it with the sheer awesome that is earth
ponyhuman magic. At least this one isn't as mind-boggling as Fluttershy's was (not from the instrument, but the hamsters.)Also, Flim and Flam jumping all over the darn place is a good distraction for me. I can only sit back and giggle while they're involved.

Thanks for posting! I wouldn't have known they released another short. Their human designs cracked me and my brother up. So sleaze. Much haggle/cheat. I mean that in the best way possible.
Also liked hearing Scott McNeil (MIGHTY IS HE!!!) voicing Flim (or Flam. I can't tell). It's so distinct from his usual lineup of voices, but you can still hear little twangs of his voice in Flim (or Flam).
It is totally possible to sleep in the nude in winter. You just need an extra comforter or two. Or a lover to keep each other warm. I'm just going to steal that head cannon of the twins sleeping in the nude. It gets awkward being in such tight clothes after awhile, especially if they got wet from all the cider, eh?
The picture with Pinkie and the twins reminded me of something completely different.

Their designs kinda startled me at first (I mean, I went in expecting something like that but it's such a drastic difference from most other EQG characters plus it's not exactly the same. No hats! Much sad. I assume they hang them up or something.)
I really like them though. Horsey faces, always.
Oh, yes! Of course. I just didn't think people wanted to hear my thoughts on how winter goes. Plus, depending on the situation, you might need the clothes, if you don't have the other options.
And what they wear isn't going to keep them terribly warm. It's summer clothing. Regardless, sleeping in clothes gets them rumpled and most ponies seem to sleep nude, though Twilight has her adorable little sleeping cap and Rarity has her sleeping mask.
My honest head canon is they bundle up in winter with even warmer clothes (more than most ponies do because their natural winter coats don't grow very long or thick at all, and horns sap away heat from the body.) They also share warmth with each other and any partners they can coax into doing so, and don't really have any problems sharing a bed or curling up beside each other. They have space but they're obviously close. I can't imagine them getting fussy about that sort of thing (although I imagine they mostly do that to save money and they're crazy comfy.)
In my head canon, they're also terrible with money. Gambling and excess is incredibly tempting, even when they know how to budget. They're presumably living like bachelors and they don't strike me as the sort to make "Get Rich Quick Schemes" and then invest it properly.

I mostly love that picture for how adorable they all look, but I know exactly what you mean. All the Rule 34 I've looked at doesn't help me either. I may be mistaken, but I believe that artist actually drew a Rule 34 picture of them. If not, it's rather similar in style. (Then again, it's FiM. Unless the style is super distinctive, a lot of them look similar.)

They did do a really nice job on making Gilda/Flam seem realistic! That artist captured their personalities perfectly and made it a great ship.
I also liked how the same artist seems to ship Gilda/Rainbow Dash and Rainbow Dash/Flam, actually (judging from one of their DA pictures; not sure if it ended up on the tumblr or not.) They also had that one picture of Gilda choosing both RD and Flam, so I totally buy a trio of love there. Probably the only Flam menage a trois I'll accept without Flim included. (Man, I'm awful. I totally shouldn't be focused on Flim and Flam sharing a partner, but I can't help it.) But hey, I always choose bisexual, and this is no exception.
Then again, RD goes with absolutely everyone else in this fandom, so I guess it's partially resignation on my end. It's kind of a really cool idea though. She's definitely not one who usually gets paired with either brother, but she loves cider. If Soarin' can be shipped on pies alone, she can be shipped on that! Plus, Flam would be awesome with both of them (certainly visually) and if Gilda ever got her act together, I'm pretty sure RD would take her back, as a friend or otherwise.
