Yes, I know, another story idea...
But it's a change from all the sad and dark stuff I've been writing.
I have figured out that I will work on one sad story (In the Beginning) and one happy comedic story (this one) at a time, then move on to the next ones, with updates on older stories in between.
Also, I still need a grammar editor for WMMS... So if you could, then please PM me. That would be a big help.

It's ridiculous, the only prominent male character in the show, Spike, is written and treated as a buffoon most of the time. Just comic relief.

2136633 The thing is, I'm not trying to be sexist, I honesty would hate him if he was a girl, too. I agree that there should be more prominent male characters due to all of the bronies, but it is still a show for little girls and the writers don't write for bronies: it's too bad, really.

Actually, if you don't mind me asking... how would you have casted the male characters in the show? Do you think any of the main six should have been male? Or would have more of the supporting cast (background ponies) been male?
There are tones of mares in this world (I've seen figures of six to one thrown around and those are probably correct) so it makes me wonder.

2136876 I'm not sure I would have made one of the Mane 6 a stallion considering the Mane 6 like to do a lot of fun girly stuff together, but I definitely would have added a Prince of Equestria and many supporting characters would have been male. What about you?

It would be interesting if more of the supporting characters were stallions. I could see one or two of the main six being stallions but then you run into issues...
Having a male go along on their adventures and showing that the women of the party were just as capable as he was would make a statement that they were equals.
Other aspects of the storyline could still work, but would have to be adapted. For example the beauty contest. The girls would participate and the stallions would either help, or maybe participate too? There are male models out there.
It is an interesting idea though.
