A Little Announcement about future writing... · 12:43am May 19th, 2014
So, as I'm sure you've noticed, it's been quite some time since I updated JoaLC, and I'm sure you're all wondering where the next chapter is.
To be frank, I don't know.
To explain, I know exactly where I want to go with this story, and I know what the next few chapters will be. I'm just not very good at writing things. The authors that can pump out 5,000 words a day amaze me. I'm not one of those kinds of writers. It takes me so long to put my ideas into words, and I have trouble actually placing emotion, ad other elements into the stories. Updates for JoaLC and any other fics I may write in the future, (And I have a lot of ideas for many more,) just take so long for me to write.
Now, don't take this as a "I can't write anymore," or "I quit on the fandom," etc etc, blog post. FAR from it. I will never leave ANYTHING unfinished. I may close it off with a bad end, or outsource an end to someone else if I fall REALLY far, or don't know what to do, but I will NEVER leave a fic just cutoff in the middle. So you can ease that thought.
What I am saying, however, is be patient. I'm sorry I can't write as fast as other writers, and that I'm not a better writer myself. I love all the positive feedback I've been getting, and I hope to be able to get some more chapters out soon.
TL,DR? I'm not dead. I'm a slow writer, But I'll never quit on anything I put out.

I feel like reading any of my stories would be unbelievably narcissistic, or boastful. Now, if a good portion of my youtube subscribers asked for it, then I wouldn't mind. But other than that, no, sorry.
I enjoy your writing, I'm eager to see what happens next in your changeling story ^^
