Just got permission to use a very nice picture for the front page of Jake and the Kid. Colors might be a bit off, but other than that it's just perfect.
I'm busy on the Continuation and hope to post before too much longer.
Anyone who's following me and reads this, if you want to chip in before the ink dries there are some questions I'd like to put out there.
Gilda is going to pop into this story arc.
I know, surprised me too, but she came winging in in the middle of the chapter, what was I going to do
it would have been rude to ignore her.
You know I like to slip shipping into the background of the stories. Was wondering if there were any strong opinions in regards to Gilda.
For that matter if there are any strong feelings in regard to Twilight and Luna. Any desire to see more of their Courtship? Should I open Dancing in the Rain for more chapters?

Yep, it's been fun and it is fun to tail along with your work on -- (peeks) -- a quarter of a million words! Yikes. And it's a fun enough read that they just flow right along too. Looking forward to many more happy horsewords in the future

And it's probably cliché by now but I always liked the Gilda/Trixie pairing, though I doubt that Trixie will show up in your fic. Also yes to more TwiLuna!

Really. I don't actually read a large amount of fiction, and had not come across any Gilda Trixie. Always thought it was Twi/Trixie that was the big thing.
Trixie will show up. She's a favorite of mine. I just haven't figured out a good hook.

And you're right the Twi Trixie pairing is the most popular. I guess I thought GildaTrixie was cliché because I really like that pairing and the couple of fics I've found it in were good too. 
Also, Curry's talent for handling the troublesome shouldn't be limited to just ponies. Maybe give Gilda some training.

Trixie is way too much fun to not use her, but I don't know if she'll show up in this story arc. If not, it would be the next one. This arc should not be as long as the original, which is a real foolish thing for me to say now that I think of it.
My stories have a lot in common with the word Mississippi, sometimes it's hard to figure out where to stop.
