This goodbye is a formality · 3:15am May 12th, 2014
I send this goodbye to everyone who is still somehow following me or any of my stories. I thank all of you for the many months and thousands of views on this site. You all will hold a special place in my heart forever. This will be my last blog post/ update to this blog. I am not involved in the Brony fandom anymore, I still thank those of you who have encouraged me to continue writing (you know who you are). I ca't understand how I've grown so far apart from everyone, or how it all fell apart. I'll miss you guys. :)
I have made amazing friends from this community of caring people, and I feel like you all deserved a formal goodbye.
So this is it, I look forward to seeing all of you in the future beyond..
Best wishers,
Broneyofnoel (Parker)
P.S. Ill never forget any of you, I promise.
Awful lot of people quitting... just a quick question, why? I appreciate the nice way you quit, just wondering why.
2103525 The fandom has lost it spark.
It is gone, Geronimo, bye bye.
It was there, and now it is gone forever.
2103862 And I am supposed to believe you... why?

Most of the people in this fandom are high school/ college students. Unfortunately that means that people will start to leave the fandom as they graduate and move on in life. It's the sad reality of moving on into the adult world.
2105230 That kind of makes no sense. If you enjoy something then you can still be into it, or still like it when you grow up. Now if you mean they have no time to write stories then fine, but you don't just start hating something simply because you have "grown up".

No, you don't. But, most of the people I've seen leave the fandom haven't done so, because they don't like the show anymore. They left the fandom, because they are too busy in life to make music, art, write stories, etc.
2105252 If you love something you make time, of course if you're starting a family then you'll have none I suppose.
2105242 I never said I" hate anything, I'm just not here anymore
2105257 I never said you did, but Gammer7's comment was just so odd to me.

Honestly, I'm just going off of what I've heard. Everytime I see someone leave the fandom, it has to do with their personal lives getting too busy. They don't have the time they used to have to devote to the fandom, so they leave.
My best guess is that other things started to take more priority in their lives, and they just lost the spark that kept them in the fandom.
I hope that helps explain my original comment.
2105282 its not the end if they leave though there are still a lot of people who watch it and a lot of em won't leav
