Tagging this with A Light In The Dark because it you liked this story and wanted to see it continued, this is the blog for that to happen.
Well, I've officially fallen in love with Tirek. Sorry Discord, but you've been outed from numero uno villain...o. Now the list goes for top villains of MLP: Tirek, Discord, Sombra, Nightmare Moon, Chrysalis, Trixie, Gilda. Also, Scorpan is pretty cool too... even though we didn't get to see him at all. Damn you writers! But at least we know his medallion thingy was the bedazzle Twilight needed to win the day. So that makes him a kewl dude in my book.
But, now for why I have forced you all by gunpoint here to observe. A new Tirek story shall be made (along with two of my stories about to be marked Complete as well!). However, which Tirek story I should do is still up to the question. Would you all prefer...
A FUN COMEDY WHERE SCORPAN WITH THE HELP OF THE MANE SIX HELP TIREK BECOME REFORMED WITH DISASTROUS RESULTS
A DARK/ADVENTURE STORY WHERE TIREK KICKS SOME ASS AND HELPS THE PONIES AGAINST ANOTHER G1 VILLAIN THREAT THAT IS ABOUT TO DOOM ALL OF EQUESTRIA
I couldn't decide on one of them, help me out here.
Please note that either story will be badass/awesome/spectacular/amazing/and probably the best fucking Tirek story you've ever read. I've watched every episode of G1 with this dude in it, and I can say without a doubt he is amazeballs.
Also, this is how you spell his name. Spread the fucking word, yo.

I dunno man, I think Tirek is just TOO evil. I thought he was an awesome villain, but I'm not sure he's got the depths of the others (OR DOES HE????)
I like the idea of the second one more, but Tirek's powerset is just too ridiculous compared to everyone else. I'm not sure how you'd make it a teamup rather than 'Tirek showboats for everyone'.
Obviously though in his depowered state he is less of a threat, but then, would Celestia feed him ponies to power him up?

My plan is for something like the SMOOZE. An entity that absorbs and feeds off of all power, magic and otherwise, and grows stronger from it. Even the RAINBOW POWERZ would be useless against it. And with no other options left, there's always the one dude who knows how to absorb magic himself to ask for help for...

2101098 I would have thought Grogar could be cool. He feeds on fears and insecurities--if my memory of him serves--which the M6 and Discord have plenty of. Tirek, on the other hand, seems pretty solidly sure of himself even in the worst of times. Not to mention Grogar allows for some psychological complexity, while the Smooze is....pudding.
The first one. I need more Scorpan.
Tirek fighting against the smooze sounds good too so I'm fine either way.

Oh man, I've been wanting to use Grogar since forever. But remember, let's not forget who released the Smooze in the first place. This bitch right here. Hydia wasn't the biggest bad out there, but she had evil magic to manipulate others and get what she wants. Now, obviously, she's probably dead by now if I follow the kinda canon of G1 being a time way before G4, but there's always the possibility of her descendants still pulling tricks, and with Grogars help, holy fuck, I got a pretty whicked story going for me!
I need a story of me kicking some ass and making babies with my real life anthro futashy tulpa! jk

2101140 I'd forgotten about Hydia. A big bad mashup could be good. Hell, forget the Mane Six. Why not just make Discord, Scorpan and Tirek vs Hydia, The Smooze and Grogar? Have the mane cast shoved aside somehow--make it so that the villains want to prove themselves without the help of little ponies, or have it that the Smooze eats them before they can help. It'd be more interesting with this many villains involved as a study in evil, IMO.

Seriously, wasn't he like the first major villain in the entirety of the mlp universe?
He is a necromancer, which is a big plus in my book, and rules a city full of imps/demons that crosses dimensions. A city that can only be sent back when a certain bell is rung, I believe. By a human.
There another story I read that had Grogar in it, Titanomachy I believe, as well as its sequel.
The author made an interesting connection between the old Goat Necromancer and a certain unicorn wizard. Grogar focused his power through the bells he wore, right? What unicorn did Twilight dress up as, who happened to have bells on his hat? The author also made him the immortal deity of the horned folk such as the bovines, goats, and minotaurs, in the sense that the alicorns are the deities of ponykind but that is neither here nor there.
It sounds like the second could easily be a sequel to the first.

The second. Most of the larger stories I've seen you make are usually comedies, so I'm curious what a more serious one would be.
Also, the villain would have to be The Smooze, because, well, it's The Smooze.
I think a dark/adventure would be interesting
Though usually I'm not that big of a fan of the Dark tag...So I could honestly go either way!

I'm honestly happy with how great the finale was and how much it's sparked the creative side of the fandom!
I can't wait for all of the fanfics and fanart and fanmusic to come out! Not to mention the analysis'!

Also, I totally vote for the first fic, you do great adventures but SUBLIME comedies.
I'm voting for the first one, "Brotherly Love is Magic", in part because that right there makes the perfect cover image for it.
