Quick Update on Things

No, I have not disappeared.

I know I said that "Cutie Marked for Death" would have an update soon. But as it stands, it looks like it might take just as long to get it out as it did the last one. Granted, I don't suppose it makes much of a difference, but I had intended to have it out by now and I don't like feeling untrue to my word.

But, truth be told, I am getting rather bored of the story. I could write the next chapter, but I figure if it can't even keep my own interest, how is it ever going to keep the interest of my readers? I will pick back up on the story, maybe sometime in the coming week, when I have more time and hopefully more inspiration.

So, right now, I'm working on a new story. Sequels and take-offs of "Too Many Pinkie Pies" and the whole clone theme seem to be rather common these days, but I think I might have hit upon a fresh take on it. Or at least I hope I have, though I would not be surprised if someone has gotten there before me.

As I type this, I've already passed the 6,000 word mark for that story and I hope to have it presentable soon. I can't promise that I'll post it today, but the first few chapters should be out in the coming days. We'll see how it goes from there.
