Random Idea #83: Sword vs Gun fights (in visual media)

I had some shower thoughts after watching some various fight shows, specifically about choreography. So, I assume we’re all broadly familiar with sword fights.

Note that “gun” and “sword” here are simply shorthand for any ranged, projectile weapon and any melee weapon, punches and kicks included.

Idea #82: A random review of Cyberformula: Road to the Infinity 1 to 4

The audience for this game outside of Japan is probably in the low hundreds, but after binging the games for the past two weeks, I needed some way to organize my thoughts.

First of all, what is Cyberformula?

Random Idea #81: Complaining about Scale in third person POV games

Peach Rant · 6:48am May 9th, 2014

Is it some sort of curse where band-wagoning and not giving a shit makes people attracted it like beetles to shit?
This has been the highest |user comment/fic| ratio I ever had. And I don't like what I didn't do to get it.

I hate all of you.

Honestly, if it were anything but peaches, I would have ignored it. I genuinely love peaches and stories involving them thanks to Obselescences's terribly stupid but very well written story, so I had to give this my support. Almost everything about this story is awful as you are Beautifully aware, but I love the spirit behind it. It is meta enough in just the right ways for me to love it.

People comment on ideas, thing that provoke and make them think. If well timed toilet humor can make people think then they are likely to comment and share it. It's a tenancy that has historically worked great for human survival. Also the brain likes things that are unique. You did something unique, the brain likes it, thinks about it, and shares it's thoughts.
