Classy, as always.

There's always going to be that side of the fandom. It exists in every fandom, and it is never likely to go away. I suppose all we can really do is hope that people outside our fandom see that corner as the minority they actually are, and think of the fandom as a whole as it's fairly less unpleasant majority.

Well, yes and no. While it certainly seems to be more prevalent, that may be due to that fact that such cases get pushed into the spotlight more often than in other fandoms. This fact is simply magnified by the fact that MLP is at its core a children's show, which makes these cases seem so much more appalling.

I'm not saying it isn't a problem. What I'm saying is the we can't make people stop doing what they do, whether we agree with it or not. However, what we can do is make sure that there are more positive things to say about us than negative.
