Well, that's that. · 3:08am Apr 30th, 2014
Roughly six months after the commissioner contacted me, Taking Care of Animals is live. I've got the whole thing pre-written, so I'll be releasing chapters on a somewhat smooth, quick basis (as per the commissioner's request), and then.
I'll be done.
Ever since I started writing Heart of Gold, Feathers of Steel back in April of 2011, I've always had a project on my plate or in the wings. But now, I don't have anything concrete planned. I have ideas, and I've got opportunities, but none of those are backed by any sort of motivation or commitment. I think I remember saying once, how I wanted to take a break after Summer Days and Evening Flames ended. Then, Human After All came around (which I only regret not making the siege in chapter 9 much more grandiose than it was; I still like the ending), and then, Taking Care of Animals.
If I start on another story, I'm going to have to rebuild connections—mainly pre-readers and an artist. But, that's a lot of work for something that's going to be a lot of work.
I think first, I'll take that break. Then I'll decide just how "done" I truly am with writing.
>still like ending
What ever you say boss.
Will read later though.
Cool. If you need pre-readers, I could likely help out if needed.
