When Zombies eat, where does it all go?

I'd really like to know. Seriously, I mean do they poop themselves or something? HOW DOES IT WORK?! Does it, like go to another dimension filled with other zombies that eat what the first one ate? Is it like a never ending cycle or something?

the walking dead wiki explains it a lot better. since zombies are technically dead. they can't digest the human flesh or whatever they ate and the stuff just stays in their remains for a while. then gets forced out of the anus
