So, yeah.

Well, I've left you all in the lurch. Life gets in the way, blah blah blah. In all honesty I can really only blame my own incredible powers of procrastination. That being said, I'm done-ish with the new chapter. I poked a couple people with it's shabby pages, and after I get their feedback (if they feel like giving any =P) and polish it up a bit, I'll drop it on all you guys. I want to say as soon as later tonight, and as late as around noon tomorrow.

So many apologies for the long wait, and the indeterminate quality. As usual I'm racked with indecision and doubts about my writing ability and the validity of my thoughts, but you know, you can't really do anything if you let that get to you. Maybe writing this story will help me deal with this aspect of myself in other parts of my life =D

Screw you, Krabs. Stay out of this. >.<

Anyway, I guess I'll throw out a little bit about myself. Why? Why not? It's my blog isn't it? =P

I guess I could start by saying I'm a chef. I work as second in command in a well regarded Italian restaurant somewhere in the northeast of America. It's a pretty high stress environment, and I frequently find myself working 6 day weeks there, but the work is rewarding in its own little ways. We work with a lot of local produce, and sourcing it is one of the fun things about the job. Mushroom foragers in particular are a strange and amusing bunch, but I wouldn't be half as proud of the dishes we produce without their labor. The dishes that mushrooms are actually involved in, anyway =). What else? I'm a few credits shy of a bachelor's in literature, which I only aspire to in the off chance it might make a publisher give a second glance to some unsolicited manuscript that crawls under their doorframe like some kind of primordial amoeba, squalling for sustenance as it extends it pseudopodia in an attempt to encapsulate said publishers mind and heart in an inescapable idea vacuole.

Yeah, stuff. Hope you aren't too disappointed in my next chapter, and again, sorry for the wait.
