Someone once said I was passive aggressive. I disagree. I am far too impatient for that. I prefer just being normal aggressive. Don't worry about 'maybe' upsetting me, you will know.

    Coincidence

Hey, you guys remember "Wingover"? Remember the moral, that having raw talent doesn't make you better than people who have to work hard to achieve what you can do easily?

Recently, a new 'Friends Foreever" comic was released, and...

    Ultra 'FML' Rant

As if the title wasn't warning enough, huge, angry rant below.

Well, maybe not angry. I don't think anger has truly formed yet, I'm still mostly in the depression/stunned phase.

If you've been living under a rock

Brought to you by MANE 6 (the people who began 'Fighting is Magic', before it was C&D'd by Hasbro) with character and world design by Lauren Faust (seriously. She's personally involved in this project.)

The results are in! · 4:50am Apr 21st, 2014

Well, I am sure most of you realized that I published a new story recently. If you are one of the 341 people following me, then you know doubt are aware of:

It was a resounding success, clocking in at nearly 300 faves and a nice tenure on the top of the Feature Box, an achievement I have not done since I published A Little Push.

I noticed that ALP got a lot of new favorites as well, bringing it very close to 900 (!!!). I'm glad more and more people are seeing these stories, and hopefully following them back to their source, the incredibly talented Kilala97 on DeviantART.

'In Her Shadow' was the third story I have written for Prism Bolt specifically, though it was the second chronologically. Wingover is the latest in terms of chronology, and probably my personal favorite of the three. Since Prism was more grown up in it, it really allowed me to play with his character without needing to connect him to older and more mature characters to handle moving the plot.

And, dear readers, I will share this with you. There is one chapter left in my telling of this story. That's right, a quadrilogy (that is a terrible name) of stories about the most cocky pegasus you ever did see. This chapter is going to be ambitious, and I want it to make call backs to the other three stories, while still being its own tale and tying up the story of Prism Bolt to my satisfaction.

It has been really inspiring to see all the thanks and fame these stories have gotten. You guys sure know how to make a recreational author feel important. The last one needs to be absolutely perfect, since it is the ending. I am setting the bar high, and I fully expect to fall short, but that won't stop me from trying. With the assistance of my proofreader, Prak, I'd like to think I at least know to cut down on comma splices and third person omniscient story telling. Always more to learn, always more to do.

Keep your eyes and ears open, we aren't done yet!

I shall and cannot wait to see it. Also, time to check out the DA page!

Also, congrats!

It's called a 'quartet'. These are my favorite of the Kilala'verse stories.

I thought that only applied to music?

It applies to books as well.

Might I inquire what it will be about and will it involve a purple, light-blue haired pegasi mare by any chance? :trixieshiftright:

Well, Lumino, you have me on the edge of my seat in anticipation. Best of luck pulling it together.

Was there any doubt?

I thought it was a cycle? The Eragon books were originally intended to be the "Inheritance Trilogy" before the fourth book made them the "Inheritance Cycle." It doesn't really matter either way, just bringing it up.
