    State of the Author

So a lot of folks have noticed I haven’t been as active on FimFic lately. The enforced hiatus from COVID and the world going into lockdown kind of threw off my writing groove, and when I started getting back into writing I found that the projects I was interested in lived outside the fandom space. I think it’s probably something that was building up for a while before lockdown, anyone who’s

Looking for Pre-readers · 1:11am May 24th, 2012

So, been having some troubles with my pre-readers lately; some of them have real-life stuff that's keeping them busy, and some have just dropped off the radar. Bottom line is, I need some new pre-readers.

Anyone interested?

I'd be fine to check spelling and grammar and sentence flow and whatnot.

Feel free to hit me up, especially if you want somebody who focuses on the actual details and plot, as well as composition.

I've got some pre-reading experience if you need any more. I usually get misspellings, minor grammar, and I hunt down plotholes.

Sure. I'm a capable grammar snob.

I'll volunteer. I'm in my schools accelerated English.

I am available sometimes, feel free to ask me.

Man, I really would love to, but I'm entirely too busy right now. Please keep me in mind later, though. Thanks! :twilightsheepish:

I'm a little busy on the RL side of things regarding job hunting, but as an EqD pre-reader, I'm happy to offer my services on the side. How may I be of help?

Anything you need. I do professional reviews on pony fanfiction anyway, so I'm a candidate you should consider.

I'd be totally willing to preread anything you send my way. I'm a lifetime grammar snob and have an abundance of free time.

I'd offer for anything other than Denarians.
I don't know Dresden Files at all and I'm critical enough of that story at this point that I might be a little non-constructive.
But yeah, for any other fics I'd be down. A list of the fics I preread proofread and provide concept feedback with is on my user page.

I would be willing. So.

Hit me up, if you feel so inclined--I'm fully versed in the Dresden Files as well as MLP. I'm something of a grammar Nazi, so consider yourself forewarned.

I can do plot and details as well, as I have a fairly good eye for those. Plus, I'm a high school English teacher, so there's that, too. :derpytongue2: Although, I don't know crud about the Dresden Files, so that help would probably err more on the grammatical side.

And I know a fair bit about the Dresden Files, but I actually really dislike the series, a lot, because of how the author handles some of the worldbuilding. But I still have the knowledge to help, in that case. Maybe we should consider a tag-team effort? :P

Indeed! Cooperation between bronies via the power of teh interwebz! :derpytongue2::moustache:

Not only am I a fully capable grammarian, but I can also critique constructively.

Hey,

I'm available for such things.

JMH

I do proof-reading, if that's of any help.
