BABSCon! And New Fanfic Spotlight! · 7:02am Apr 18th, 2014
Yay! I'm now settled into my hotel room at BABSCon here in San Francisco. Anyone else attending should know a few of us are trying to organize some sort of fanfiction meetup around 5pm on Saturday, since there are no fanfic events the entire day. Details are still fuzzy, but I'll update this as we get it sorted out. Comment here or PM if you're interested, and I'll try to reply directly to everyone so you get proper notices. If you want to meet up with me in the day and a half before then (always glad to make new friends and/or have people to eat with) PM me.
Also, the second edition of the Everfree Northwest Fanfic Spotlight just went up. Slightly late, as people with the proper access were AFK for a bit, but it's there now. If you want something new to read, check it out!
Aw, I'm super jealous. I was invited to a panel (or something of that nature o.O) at Babscon but turned the spot down. Simply too far away and too out of budget. D:
There is a writing panel at 2345 on Saturday.

They were inviting people. At one point their invitations said that if you were chosen to panel they would comp a ticket, then they changed it so that they were inviting people, and then asking them to apply but wouldn't comp tickets. So it was kind of misleading to some people.

Okay, so if we're going to get technical about it, there are exactly 15 minutes of fanfic programming on Saturday.
"Saturday sucks, let's do an unofficial meetup" is still the appropriate response to this scenario.
