I'm on spring break, so of course everyone is basically on vacation, but I went on vacation two weeks ago, so I'm still here in my beautiful hometown (--WHY THE FLUFF IS THERE SNOW ON THE GROUND?!?!?)
Anywho, i was texting my friend and she asked me where i was, so of course, being the pokemon nerd i am, i replied, "Sinnoh."
BUT SHE ISNT A POKEMON NERD, SO SHE HAD NO IDEA WHERE I WAS.
I told her it was at the northern most region of this country (it is, check the pokemon map) and she assumed i was in alaska.
It was a really funny conversation in retrospect, as i kept giving her comparisons between the other regions... hoenn, fiore, johto, etc) but i dont really wanna break it to her that really im not in alaska, but rather in my dark bedroom with a giant bag of chips, a ds, and no plans for the entire week except to defeat the elite four with a team of eeveelutions.
this pretty much sums up my life.
...or rather, my lack of a life.
My Spring Break was bicycling across California with a bunch of other fifth graders like me

Honestly, I know next to nothing about Pokemon, but even I probably would be able to figure out if some place name was a region there. As far as actual names, I only remember Sinnoh, and that's because I got bored and read this random guidebook I found lying around.

Me in a nutshell, except it isn't the pokemons or whatever the kids nowadays are doing. Instead its Battlefield 4, Dark Souls, and Eve Online. Yeah, the nerd life is the best life.
