I don't know how many of my followers (or those that favorited NYAHiES) deal with depression on a regular basis, so let me begin my saying that it is an actual illness. Just like catching the common cold, it is something that you cannot control. Thinking about it, it is worse than the common cold, because you can take precautions against that. You can avoid sick people, and drink your OJ, but nothing can prevent a chemical imbalance, unless you already know you have one. And if you're at that point, congratulations on being believed. I've struggled with depression since '07, on and off.
It's probably the biggest reason I have troubles making regular updates for my fics.
However, I am currently entering the time of year that I feel decent on a regular basis.
What does this mean? And why did I tag NYAHiES for this?
It means that I am going to be writing more. It means I'm going to update this. I might even update Lady Rarity.
Right now, I'm working on setting the rules for Nighthawk's healing power. While I have the basic idea, I'm trying to think of a way to naturally bring the conversation to how his powers work.
