The Israel/Gaza Situation Has Me Broken

    Already on Step 4

Check this out if you have zero clue what I'm talking about haha.

Did bodyweight squats in front of my physical therapist, and they were good!! Super smooth, great range of motion, and zero tightness for the first few sets. This puts me on step 4 out of 5.

Plan to Cross the Finish Line

Gameplan my physical therapist and I made to overcome my joint issues once and for all. I'd say I'm 90% there, so here is the plan for the last 10%. Primary remaining issue is the left hip weakness causing me to shift much of my weight onto the right hip, which also causes my entire trunk/upper body to twist to compensate for the lean. This messes up my shoulder blade movement as well, leading to

Can Almost See the Light at the End of the Tunnel

After almost a full decade of pain affecting my waking hours, sleep, ability to exercise, and ability to just have fun, I'm almost done!!!!

I define me being done as: Being able to exercise, sleep, stand, sit, lie down, and walk with no pain, instability, or unevenness. It's hard to put a number on a goal like this, but I'd say I'm 85% there.

    Almost Done Beating Genetics

Ughhhhhh why can't I be 100% done, though :raritydespair:

Alright, so despite basically every joint having issues at first, I can minimize the major starting issues to:
    - Right hip tear + instability
    - Left hip tear + instability
    - Left shoulder instability
    - Right shoulder instability

The two bolded ones were the biggest issues. As of now, I have:

Seriously guys, thanks for all the likes and positive feedback. I never thought The One Pony You Never Prank would be this popular, especially after only one chapter. It's actually kinda weird seeing a story I wrote in the feature box. Consider this a thank you to all the people who read it, liked it, commented, favourtied, are now watching me, etc. I'd thank you all individually, but I don't feel like spending a month doing that lol.

And as for John Perry's pretty much negative review of the story in his feature box reviews, that's his opinion and I will respect it. He didn't like it, gave reasons why and it's my job to improve.

I will note that the actual reason that this got "so popular" is that you started a story off with a premise people want to read. Like many similar stories that hit the feature box, it isn't actually the first chapter which made people upvote and favorite it, but the idea of the story it is starting off.

I figured this out after the same thing happened to me, and after quite a bit of observation of the featured story box.

Pretty much this. I don't usually favorite stories that haven't gotten past setting their premise up, since it's too early to make any judgement on the story's quality and it means only following a story on the hope that it turns out good. "The REAL List" tickled my funny bone in a good way though, so best of luck to you, author #17,000 that's had the dubious honor of the featured box.

Yeah that actually makes sense. Wish I knew more things people want to read.

of course now you have to make something that lives up to the expectations

Good luck with that :trollestia:
