Inspiration providing me with stuff

Ohmigosh, I totally made a blog post with the intention of making a blog post!

Okay... TO BUSINESS!

I had a new set of meetings with my personal muse. I think I'll go with something original crossing over with the world of Equestria for my first story, although that is a risky path to tread. Which leads me on to the next issue at hand, the good news and the really good news. The really good news are, that I have created a world, which is both interesting and capable of overlapping with the Equestrian one. The good news are, that I have created an OC, who might be fitting for the whole thing. ^^

I am just wondering if making him the equivalent of a Quick Ben [Malazan Book of the Fallen] with an addition of some impulsive tendencies and a certain... scattered background makes for an interesting character. Especially with some potential powerful enemies and my plans of creating a good deal of social awkwardness for everyone involved. (Yes! Even the reader will be affected!) And in addition I am wondering whether or not I can actually integrate dialogue without making it awkward. :3

Did I forget to say that I was going to have elements of advanced technology, magic and whatever works for the story involved? No?!

(I mean, really... The cosmos and setting of the story might actually give me leeway for the inclusion of other universes...)
