I just realized that it has been over 7 months since I got back from America... and my urge to one day return there hasn't decreased yet :p
Man, I still remember it like it was yesterday. There's something about the American architecture and culture that makes me love it there. (btw, I love how most of your country houses look.)
Two weeks was way too little time to spend there. The one day that I went to the beach, was the day that it was actually a little too cold to go in the water. The latter part of the second week, my hostess unfortunatly got sick, thus ruling out any further trips. I never got to try out one of dem twinkies, nor did I try out many local specialities. I did try crab cake, which ended up being a mistake on my part :p
Best milkshakes I've ever tasted, the KFC here just doesn't taste the same as there, and hot nearly every single day. (I caught one storm while I was there, and boy, it sure was one)
A crab cake? Being a mistake?

Not so fond on sauce, I like turkey, and I haven't tried bacon in a while, so who knows :p
But the really great thing about America is that it is HUGE, and that size brings a lot of diversity. If you don't like one part if it, you can drive a thousand miles away and that other part will be totally different. It's really get a spot for everyone, if you look.
And we have bacon, which you are apparently sorely missing out on!
