I knew there was fanfics for that, but I know they'd pale in comparison to the actual books, which I love. The movies suck though.

I have become obsessed reading them, in my year long wait for Blood of Olypus. They do indeed pale aginst uncle Rick's work, but they are enough to tide me over, in fact, my head is swirling with ideas for a few I might write. The movies do have a few flaws on their own, next to the books they are terrible. My biggest complaint, in the lightning thief, ANNABETH IS SUPPOSED TO BE BLOND! Oh well. Back to my trance like state, completely ignoring anything else! By the way, you get as full controller as you can for he defenders while I am gone.
