Woke up at 2 AM. Writing a sadfic.

I normally get 10 hours of sleep a day. Today I got 4. This makes me sad, I'm going to project it all on Trixie. Kind of unfair since I already have a partial story wrote with Trixie as a major character but whatever, some mare was bound to get to a lead on amount of stories they are in, Trixie is just taking an early lead. Not like she'll keep it at any rate.

Below is a sneak peak at the opening, it doesn't contain any spoilers, because it's literally the first words you'll read anyway. You might still want to avoid it though.

To Become Great and Powerful (Sneak Peek)

If there was one thing Trixie was good at, it was putting on a show. Not cutie mark good, mind you, or she wouldn't be a blank flank, but good enough that her mother didn't know that she was bullied by the other Unicorns in her class. The tears on her face were quickly wiped off before walking though the door, but today her tears ran even harder as the door she ran through wasn't her own.

"Grandpa! Grandpa!" She called running though the house. "Mommy's on the floor and won't get up!"

A resounding thud echoed throughout the house as the back door was nearly ripped off it's hinges by dark violet aura. Trixie's grandfather was still in good shape for being an older pony, especially a unicorn, and acted quickly. His granddaughter had been known to stretch the truth like any young pony, or perhaps a bit more, but he had had the feeling something was wrong for the past hour and the frantic blue filly in front of him couldn't be anything but genuine. Even with the weight of the little one he tossed on his back with magic, no racehorse in Equestria could have ran faster than he did that day.
