A couple announcements that I know you won't read.

    1. I've lost interest in writing the chapter of Rarity: Aftershocks I had been thinking of. Maybe I'll resume it someday (after all, I did say that story is a container for anything random I write, more or less).

    Almost done

Sorry about the delays, I just keep writing and don't have a good stop. I've found that I enjoy writing dialogue, since it lets the characters be themselves and work through the plot points "on-camera", as it were, without extensive internal monologues. It's much easier for me to write than long stretches without anypony talking. What are your opinions ant tips on dialogue-writing?

    Back in the Groove

I'm back in a groove of writing. As I near completion on Royal Flush, I got distracted by being inspired to work on Rarity Does Canterlot again. When I first sketched out the ideas for these stories in June 2012, Canterlot was the most complete of my story stubs. However, for whatever reason, I lost interest in it. More specifically, writing NSFW scenes with multiple

    New Chapter Tonight (Hopefully)

So much for finishing everything up back in September. I do have ideas on closing the series, but job-searching stress and being easily distracted (I'm not normally a writer by trade and I do my most productive work when away from Wi-Fi, a.k.a. when I'm a passenger on a long trip). If all goes well, I'll have a chapter for

    Inspiration Weekend!

I was inspired this weekend! Now to write it all down before the inspiration leaves and time constraints set back in.

Will probably attempt to finish off the whole series. For some reason, I can keep going if I have scaffolding for the stories in place.

More specifically, writing NSFW scenes with multiple stallions is difficult (it is called "Rarity Does Canterlot", after all). Due to the small number of characterised stallions in the show, there are three ways I've thought to try. First, there is using canonical stallions together, but this often ruins any chance of them acting in-character, so I avoided it. Second is anonymous stallions. These work well enough for one-on-one scenes, but for an group scene, treating stallions as identical electrons either means you forget just what it is possible for three stallions to do and end up with a situation where the three stallions are now five or you forget that some exist and have five walk in and two walk out. Finally is making up OCs, naming for the sake of having a name to keep track.

Aftershocks is a series of one-offs that take place after Canterlot, but I did say I would release them as soon as they are completed, so they may end up being released long before their source material. Royal Flush is coming along fine. As always, I write out of order, so the end is done, but I need some stretches of connector to finish—for that matter, the last chapter that was not part of the original plan is now two chapters and about half the story's length. I think my first story was the only one that was largely developed in order. Canterlot's extremely brief introduction and the end were the first two sections completed, with a middle one recently complete. I will upload that one all at once.
