Inquisitor M

Why 'Inquisitor'? Because 'Forty two': the most important lesson I ever learned. Any answer is worthless until you have the right question. Author, editor, critic, but foremost, a philosopher.

So you want to write betterer...

Just thought I'd quickly advertise the latest Humble Bundle of ebooks on writing. I've no idea how good any of them are, but if you're interested, you can't go far wrong with the price.

    New Directions

I could do the whole 'here's my update' skit, but to be quite frank, I'm just going to ask for clicks. The long and the short of it is that medication is working out very well, I have a job lined up through a special back-to-work scheme that is going well so far, and a new game is coming out in a couple of months that has finally gotten me enthused about writing again.

    Reading: Three Solos, One Cadence

I may have assumed that this project had fallen by the wayside since it's been so long. And, of course, I have been somewhat otherwise-occupied recently. Imagine my surprise when fifty-eight minutes of some of my best character writing popped up in my inbox. The background music choices make this absolutely sublime. Sometimes you have a great idea for a story. Sometimes you want to try your hand at a particular genre or style. Sometimes, however, you just need to write what it itching to be released from your brain—an act of absolute catharsis. Welcome to Every Mare Needs Her Stallion

In addition to just having the burning need to write it—at the expense of editing The Boy Who Cried Wolf, I might add—I took the chance to practice my third person limited and pushed myself to publish with some haste and without outside help. I was a little reticent to follow through with this, as it felt a bit like being lazy when it came to publish, but now it's done I feel happy about the multitude of experiences needed to grow as a writer and editor.

Third round of edits for 'Wolf start now, and I have the honour of doing some editing for The Descendant.

Good times.

I am intrigued by the summary and it's Rarity and Fluttershy, so I know this gonna be good, but onto my "to read pile" it must go... For now. :rainbowhuh: :trollestia:

(I love Third Person Limited btw.) :twilightsheepish:
