Both of these videos feature examples of images edited in such a way that they exhibit depth, and are subtly animated to give the viewer that impression. At least three of the images have as many as seven animated layers. The second video also shows off interesting depth of field effects, made entirely by hand without any prefabricated parameters (no 'Magic Bullet').
I have Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop, and at least a year's worth of experience with each individually.
