New Star-Crossed Chapter! · 3:53am Feb 8th, 2014
So, the new chapter of Star-Crossed is finally out!
I know, right!?
So anyway, the new chapter, entitled Coup D'état pt.1: The Wedding, can be found here. This chapter involves, what else, but a wedding, of some sort. If you don't know between whom, or you have simply forgotten, I'll hide it under a spoiler tag. RainbowxBlueblood
Now, onto why it took me so long to finish this chapter. If you look on my user page, you may notice that not one, but two chapters of another fic, entitled Brave New World, have come out since then, as have two other one shots (Slammed and Paper Boats, specifically). All of this was going on instead of me writing Star-Crossed.
I can't really give a reason as to why.
I could always blame my muse, right? Is that what author's do when people blame them for not having the right ideas at the right time? (wow, that sounded a lot less bitter in my head). I mean, if inspiration doesn't strike, what am I supposed to do? Work? Pffffft! Yeah right! As if! (Do I sound like Wayne Campbell yet?)
But the truth is, I should have been working on this. I think it's important to keep up with every project I've started. If I've bitten off a bit more than I can chew, then tough. I'll just have to chew harder, and maybe, uh, salivate more. But yes, the next chapter is taking root in my head, and it definitely won't take me SEVEN GODDAMN MONTHS to get it out like this one did.
Seriously, I can't get over that. How does time pass so quickly? That was in the middle of last summer, and now it's so cold that people are warming up around witch's tits.
So, with that uncomfortable euphemism, I away to waste some more time writing things I'll never finish instead of writing things people want to see!
