Hello everyone!

PonyConAU has officially passed. It was one hell of an amazing weekend. As someone who is terrible at taking photographs, expect there to be rather little. Eventually, I will have more things uploaded on my Twitter.

Day One
By the time I arrived at the venue, the line was going around the corner of the block and into obscurity. It was rather shocking that so many wonderful Bronies exist in this butt end of the world. In any case, I did not join the line. Being a Guest, I was able to skip the line and head straight inside. As I was walking down the stairs, I could only imagine the glares at the back of my head. 'Who is this person, and why are they skipping line?'

I arrived just in time to see everyone setting up for the Opening Ceremony.
This included the Guests of Honour, Andrea Libman, Peter New, Ryan K. Lindsay and Paul Abstruse. Apparently, according to the former two, Peter New plays Fluttershy. Who knew?!

I was moved into the waiting room, readying for the Writer's Panel. It was simply luxurious.

There is something really surreal about sitting in a bathroom while the guys on stage outside are playing Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dance on Rainbows.

The panel consisted of me, Ryan K. Lindsay and TheSlorg, hosted by Mathew McKenna These people were incredibly amazing. I was rather nervous at the very beginning. I was a stuttering, mindhalting mess for the first few minutes. (For those who were there, now you know why I halted and ended up cutting myself short with 'Nope!') Eventually, I could give the audience eye contact, and then by the end of it, I was ordering them to wave for me. Dance, puppets, dance!

The Panel itself was incredible. By the end, we had a full house watching us, as well as the poor suckers lining up for the Trader's Hall. (it looks like a line at Disney) Ryan, TheSlorg and Mathew are fantastic, friendly people, and I would hope that we get to do this all over again!

After lunch, I spent the rest of the day playing the MLP CCG.

After a couple of games with a tutor, I had the game in a fair grasp and took it upon myself to blindly enter the tournament! I made it to the semi-finals before being beaten. The guy who beat me proceeded to go on to win! Congrats, random person with the LED-covered hat!

And that, was Day One.

Day Two

This day was spent more behind the scenes, with a lot of running around.

The first hour of the day was spent waiting to meet Peter and Andrea! I had a special message for Andrea, which she loved. I will be seeing both of them at BabsCon! (And anyone else who will be there!)

After that, I spent the next hour looking for the panelists for the Mixed Media panel. Mostly, this was me looking for Antony C. Now, how you can lose someone as tall as he is, is far beyond me, but it took me 2 hours to find him, and he found me. Everyone gathered, and we went for lunch to chat about our panel.

I am such a big shot, I had to take a picture of the audience. I would do it again, too.

The panel itself consisted of myself, Antony C., IMMATOONLINK, Evdog, Banish Trax and Scarlet Songstress, each representing a different medium. It was so much fun, and once again, a full house! Everyone, again, was absolutely fantastic. IMMATOONLINK and Evdog showed off their animations, Scarlet showed off a speedpaint, Banish hosted the panel. Antony C. did me the wonderful honour of doing a Dramatic Reading of Twilight Sparkle Goes to Bed! Hilarious stuff. Antony then went off to show off a snippet of his new episode.

Unfortunately, we were cut short, as they needed the room for the Voice Actors Panel!

I was asked to judge the Fanfic Competition, and made a beeline for the 'control room.' I was presented with a bunch of fanfics to read and, of course, judge. I did this whilest Feather, TheSlorg and Nikki chatted and did their stuff.

Unfortunately for me, that was all. I had work the next day, and had to cut the day short at 5.

PonyConAU14 was an amazing experience, and I loved every little minute of it. It was well run, after a couple hiccups. The people were fantastic, the panels were amazing, and I got to meet a few of my own fans! A very surreal experience overall, and thank you to everyone who contributed to it.

Thank you to anyone who came to watch me make an idiot out of myself on stage! Do make yourself known, if you did!

I look forward to doing it again, if I'm ever presented the opportunity to do so. I will post videos of both panels, once I have access to them, so stay tuned!
