FoE: Anywhere But Here and other tales · 8:56pm May 11th, 2012
So a lot of you have heard of this Fallout Equestria story that's coming out called "Anywhere But Here". And more than a few of you are here because of fanart you've already seen.
First thing's first. This is actually TWO stories, both of which have two main idea men, myself and a chap named Stonershy. Both feature the same main characters Double Tap (a beat up looking unicorn) and Rita (a nerdy little griffon) but while one is more of an action movie type story, the other is more just a collection of their random adventures in the Wasteland.
The main story is called "Fallout Equestria: Anywhere But Here" has the main narrative focus on Double Tap as he and Rita take on a contract that disrupts their comfortable, if very shady, lifestyles and put them in for the fight of and for their lives. The first chapter should be released in the next couple days, follow Stonershy for that.
The other story is "Anywhere But Here: Odds and Ends" and has Rita as the main focus and has a much looser narrative. It shows her and Double Tap's rise to fortune as well as some of their stranger days. The first chunk of that should drop by next weekend and y'all can just keep your eyes on me for that.
As for what this means for my other projects? ONLY GOOD THINGS! I've had a block the size of Fallout Equestria's word count and working on something as twisted and fun as the Anywhere pair has cracked that good and proper. This should lead me to me working on my other stuff and getting them put out. I appreciate y'all's patience and I promise that Gilda and Rainbow Dash will resume beating the snot out of each other while fighting an army of flying zombies soon.
