(I haven't been writing in a long while. So either I subconciously got my skill to improve, or they need improving. Either way I was wondering if you'd read this short scene and comment on how my writing is. Thanks. :)

Logan burst into the room followed closely by Twilight. Sweat glistened on his forehead having climbed so many steps to reach Celestia's chambers. Six other ponies were in the room. They turned and looked at him hopeful. In the center of the room was none other than Princess Celestia herself. But she didn't look like herself. Her mane and tail were ragged, her perfect white coat a few shades darker, and her cheeks soaked with salty tears. She didn't seem to notice anyone else in the room. She just sat there and cried.
"What's going on?" Logan asked in a demanding tone. It was Luna who answered him.
"This happens every once in a while." Luna began. "The strange of an immortal life take quite a toll on a pony. This is just an episode to which Tia deals with her pain. But this one is different. She won't respond to anypony." Luna seemed she was about in tears herself. "No matter what we try she won't answer. We called for you because she kept saying your name for a short time. We don't know why though." She sniffed, looked at her sister and back to him. "Please help." She pleaded. Logan looked over at the sun princess before slowly advancing toward her. All eyes were on him. He squatted down in front of her.
"Celestia?" He said soothingly. His voice receded a few pitches, giving it a warm, delicate tone. "Hey? Are you alright?" He slowly brought his hand to her tear stained cheak and whipped away a fresh tear. Her body remained motionless, but her eyes bore into his. He gasped as he looked into them. Many emotions swarmed him. Being extra sensitive gave him the ability to sense others energy. And Celestia's screamed sadness, longing, pain, and a little anger. She seemed broken.
"Your sister told me you said my name." Logan began again. Keeping his the same as before. "Do you think you could tell me why that is?" There was a long pause, but eventually, Celestia spoke.
"Y-You understand me like nopony else has. You treat me as an equal, not a princess." She sniffed and leaned into him. Resting her head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around her neck, letting her continue. "I just wanted...somepony familiar." She whispered into his ear. "Somepony who didn't treat me as a princess, but treated me as...me." Logan could feel tears drip off Celestia's cheek and down the back of his neck. She had fallen deep into and emotional and mental depression. They way she spoke about him began tugging at his heartstrings, so he had to find a way to comfort the grieving princess.
"And I will be there for you." He said. The sobs receded as Celestia brought her head back. Making it so she could look in his eyes. The surprise she held was evident as well. As if she had expected him to run out on her and not stay by her side. "Her...c'mon." Logan coaxed the princess to her hooves and to her bed. Eventually she went, dragging her hooves along the stone floor. He helped her up and took off her golden accessories. Her horseshoes, crown, and necklace and set them on the bedside table. Soon after he took off his own shoes and climbed in beside her. There were several audible gasps that came from the opposite side of the room, but he ignored them. Celestia had already rested her head on his chest. She briefly looked up into his warm, loving eyes and smiled, before drifting off to sleep. He stroked her mane and looked at the rest of the ponies that resided within the room.
"I think Celestia is going to be fine." He said eventually. The six bearers of the elements looked between each other with uncertainty. But Luna was looking at him with a mix of surprise, and thankfulness.
"Come now girls. It's best we leave the princess to rest." Luna ushered them toward the door. "Logan is more than capable of taking care of her." She turned back at him one last time and smiled before leaving through the door with the rest of them. Logan stared at the said door. He just stared. But eventually his eyes drifted toward the sleeping form of Tia in his arms.
"The burden of being an immortal is a great one. A burden I know all too well. That is why she connected with me...and I with her."
