Hey guys, I'm writing this in the hopes that you'll understand and take pity on me. Neither I nor Flesh Masks is dead, obviously. I know it's been FOREVER since the last chapter, and I am extremely sorry about that. In truth, pretty much the entirety of the showdown with the Red King is already written, but it's little more than a bunch of disjointed scenes. All the stuff's there, every buck, shout, and blast, but my mind isn't letting me connect all the dots so it can flow coherently. I honestly feel like my brain is splintering as I try to connect each scene together. I've always had the kind of mindset that allows me to take any book I enjoy and make its contents the next best thing to reality for me. Every character, physical feeling, and emotion become real, at least for a time (coincidentally I love transformation stories). Now I have to create a reality wherein an entity such as Legion and the Red King are in desperate combat and experiencing all the emotions involved. My brain is just fragmenting at trying to process it all. I do desperately want to get this story wrapped up. It pains me that I still haven't done so. Maybe tonight or tomorrow I'll have that magic epiphany that makes all the dots connect nicely. In the meantime, please have pity on my broken mind.
