"Dear ******, why do you keep starting new stories when you haven't even finished your other ones?" · 4:05pm Jan 22nd, 2014
Ponies from my school keep asking the same thing. Over and over again. I've answered this for, like, the 511th time. And I am so annoyed by this, so I'll just tell this over Fimfiction.
Listen up, writers: WRITE DOWN A STORY FOR EVERY IDEA YOU GET BEFORE YOU FORGET IT, BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU'LL BE INSPIRED BY IT FOR AN ORIGINAL STORY, WHEN YOU MIGHT WRITE A SONG ABOUT IT, WHEN YOU MIGHT ANIMATE IT, OR WHEN YOU'D DO WHATEVER ABOUT IT. 'Cause it's your loss if you don't.
This might eat up some of your time to write the other fanfics. WHO CARES. You're the best, you're the star here. No one has the right to tell you what to write about or not, and nopony should try to mess with you when you screw things at your own will.
WRITE EVERYTHING. You never know when those scribbles will come in hoofy.
