After surviving a spell that merged Twilight and Dash into a single being, the two mares are still struggling to get back to as normal a life as they can have. Except, didn’t they used to have more friends? Why is it so hard to remember…

    2016 Update

Hello everyone! I know it's been a while since I posted anything and without going into way more detail than I think anyone wants, I'll just say that I haven't been super inspired to create this past year. Not just in writing but all creative aspects of my life have been somewhat on hold, not abandon, just not at the forefront. Mostly its just been me escaping reality (into games and tv shows and

    Where we go from here...

Wow, I've really neglected my blog posts... Mostly it's because I put my (fun(?)) comments in my authors notes. I would like to get more in the habit of... updates? Sharing stuff? Not sure what to call it...

    Got my Beta Readers!

Thank you everyone who sent in a request to beta read (I got a lot more responses than I expected). I have sent out messages to everyone I've selected to beta read (based on some voodoo magic, dice rolls and other contributing factors).

So You Want to Read the Next Chapter Before Everyone Else? · 6:00pm Jan 18th, 2014

So, I've never really tried having beta readers before (mostly because I am working on chapters right up to the moment I publish (and I'm super paranoid about my stuff)). And while that is still the case here, I feel the next chapter is... to use the game dev term - out of alpha where anything crazy could happen and more in beta, where it is mostly how it will appear, with just some bugs to fix.

So (to get the long way round to the point I am trying to make) I am looking for a few people to beta read the next chapter and provide some feedback / correction / insight / opinions / stuff / things / bananas...

Anyhow, if you are interested feel free to comment here or PM me. I'm not sure what the interest level will be so, no more than 5 people for now (picked based on a criteria I haven't determined yet... possibly dice) . Chapter 3 (for Fragments of Memories) will be available for beta tomorrow (Sunday the 19th for me) morning (10amish PST).

So, let me know if you want to know (and I'll let you know tomorrow after the chapter goes up for beta).

(also, no rush here on the beta thing, not planning to post chapter 3 for real until next sat so feedback up until then)

I'd love to help out. It's been too long since I've helped edit something, and I can't pass up the chance to do it with a story I like when I have both the time and the motivation for once. I'd probably be able to do it Sunday evening, and if for some reason I can't, definitely by Monday evening.

I'd be interested in helping out. Can't say I've done it before for anyone on fimfiction though.

My boasting points would be being a fairly fast reader, a decent eye for spelling/grammar errors, and placing in the 95th and 98th percentile in my state for reading and writing when I got my G.E.D.

On the flip side, I work 12-13 hour shifts three days a week that jump around from week to week. I have the next few days off but can't guarantee predictable availability past that.

I've been known to provide proofreading services for stories I like regarding everything from spelling and basic grammar to story development. I'd be glad to contribute. I've actually taken an apathy break from it recently and am looking to get back into it.

I've been looking to become more active on this website and doing this sounds easy enough. If you'll take me, I'll do it.

I can assist you, if you would like. I also have a decent amount of free time throughout the week.

My strengths lie in punctuation and syntax of the poetic sort.

I'd like to help. I've given a few stories another pair of minds eyes to look at. Though since this has had 83 views by now I'm probably too late. :twilightsheepish: Good luck with the editing!
