Okay, so I've gotten about 3,000 words or so of the next X-Questrians chapter written, but there's a problem....
I've run into massive writers block with how to get Twilight to meet Cupcake and Fleur, and for them to willingly come along for the romp.
I don't want to make it contrived, nor do I want it to be just a matter of them just saying yes without the least bit of thought.
Ugh.
Yeah any ideas of how to handle that?
Does she have to meet Professor X first? Given magneto's vendetta against the guy, it would make more sense to run into him first.

Carrot is traveling more or less by foot, while Twilight is traveling by plane and she has no reason to want to talk to Carrot anyways.
Or Professor X and Fleur could go after the Big Bad as well for some reason and the three of them could meet at the yacht.

That hasn't been stated in cannon yet. Have you considered putting her and flue into a more proactive role in regards to other mutants? She could be a consultant for strange and mysterious cases for NEIGH, or had been in the past and retired to work on studding. Fleur could have been her Watson, and having enjoyed it, could miss it and talk Professor X into getting back into the game.
Or her thesis could be about Mutations, or Super-Powers, and they bring her in because of that, and then "Oh by the way, I got started on this whole Mutant ting because I can read minds..."
1719256 Problem with her having worked with NEIGHS in the past is that she's only 19 here.
The math doesn't add up.
However, the idea of her thesis being on mutants is probably the best route....and that her mind reading comes up in conversation.

So: Most Probable Suggestion:
Twilight & Co are going after the Bad Guy, and conduct a raid on his yacht.
Carrot is going after Bad Guy, and tries to assassinate him around the same time.
They meet and bond over the frustration that is So long, Suckers!
After hearing about what kind of weird the Big Bad is into, NEIGH looks for an expert in the subject...
And cue Professor X.

I think I got something: Cupcake and Fleur happen to be in the city they overhear Twilight and company talk about Gustov and what he is doing and it awakens an old memory of Fleur's who then decides to trail Twilight to find out more and Cupcake follows to make sure Fleur doesn't get into trouble.
1719500 Problem with that is that Cupcake is at university, and Twilight wouldn't be talking about such confidential info out in the open like that.

I still hold that all three groups should meet at the yacht and work from there.
I'm guessing that Beast already works for NEIGH in some capacity, so He'll be easy to introduce...
That leaves Wolfsbane the only X-men who hasn't appeared in a movie. Since she's plot relevant, you must have already planned out how she joins the team.
