Sometimes I write words but mostly I just sit around like a big sack of meat and read.

    Anyone feel like a collab?

Well, as you may or may not have noticed, I've been away for a few weeks. Well, you probably didn't notice, as I haven't been very active even before I left, but that's beside the point. In that time, I moved (again) and focused a bit on school (which is a new experience for me and one I'm not really eager to try again).

    Cover Art (Again)

Well, my last cover art post was successful, so I guess I'll try it again. If anyone wants to draw some noir-style art for Moondrop, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Moondrop

    Yay, new story!

A pony-noir story, full of mystery, intrigue, and betrayal. Have fun reading!

NOTE- Daring Do and the Warlord's Folly is still ongoing. My co-author is really busy with life these days, though, so it's slow-going.

    Cover Art

It's a long shot, but if any of you feel like stretching our creative muscles and drawing some cover art for me, shoot me a PM. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Oh! An editor would be nice too. Nothing too long, just a 3-chapter story. Sci-fi, if that's your thing.

So, I was just being nostalgic and reading some of my older stories. One that really got my attention was "Get Out of my TARDIS!" To my great joy, I found a half a written chapter just sitting there that I had forgotten about. How does one forget something like that?! Anyway, that brought back a flood of happy memories until I realized the half-complete chapter was complete and utter crap. However, the inspiration stayed. So, I've decided to write a new chapter of the story! Hurrah!

So anyway, before I get started on that (because it's one in the morning and anything I write now will resemble the incomprehensible ramblings of a madman), I'd like to see what YOU would like to see The Doctor and Derpy get in to. Thwart a Dalek invasion? Do something vaguely timey-wimey? Maybe have a more slice-of-life type deal going on?

So yeah, hit up the comment section below.

I never know how to end these things...

Hm...

This is a comedy story. Also it's by you, so no offense, but Daleks are too serious for it. I don't want to see their threat level get shafted again by the fandom that has the least right to disrespect an enemy because it looks silly.

So let's see something else!

There are all kinds of fun places on the MLPlanet that are relatively unexplored that Doctor and Derpy could visit, like, say, the griffon kingdom, 1000 years ago. That could make for an interesting adventure.

1702087 I'm inclined to agree with you that serious writing isn't my forte. However, I think that even I could write the Daleks. When you think about it, while they are a terrifying race and a good concept, they're rather simple. Their master plan is basically "do whatever you can to kill all non-Dalek life." Also, it's not like they have any deep conversations off me to butcher.

There's this old EU story where the Daleks got into this region of space cut off from the rest of the universe, exterminated everything inside, and never got out.

And they made a weird Dalek utopia, resulting in a society of Daleks who hadn't killed anything for several generations. They sat around writing poetry, creating works of art, that sort of thing.

But they were still massively xenophobic so when the Doctor turns up all the (No longer even armed) Daleks start shitting bricks themselves because there's an alien and its terrifying but they don't know what to do. So you can do some weird things with splinter groups of the daleks.

They were also pretty much like this while still on Skaro after both the Kaleds and the Thals were gone and they were post-apocalyptic and operating under the assumption that there was no non-Skaro life. Granted, that's really frickin' old, dating back to before color tv, but it's canon.

A whole bunch of Daleks roaming around writing poetry? That's one of the funniest mental images I've had in a long time.

Also, if Ix is anything to go by, they're also partial to fanfiction on the side.
