    Personal Update

Hello everyone! It's been a very long while since I've put together a post on this site. I know I haven't been posting any new chapters for Blaze of My Heart and have been quiet about the whole thing. Honestly I don't know if anyone is still waiting for a new chapter or have moved on from the series. But to get to the point, I have been thinking about this for about maybe a couple of months and I

    Blaze of My Heart Update

Hello everyone! Just to get this out of the way, no BoMH is not canceled!!! I’m still working on the chapters but recently I’ve decided to change a couple of things about my plans. Instead of making you guys waiting for new chapters for possibly another year I decided to start posting the chapters as soon as they’re finished. The reason behind it is because real life stuff tend to get in the way

    Blaze of My Heart update

Hello everyone! Been a very long while since I've done a blog post on here. So the reason why I'm making this is to give you guys an update about the story and letting you know I'm still alive! Progress with the story has been rather really slow for the time being. I've been dealing with writer's block badly and barely been writing down new chapters for it. I've only been able to write down one

    Blaze of My Heart Update

Been a long while since I've done an update for BoMH but here it is. After the next chapter is posted on Dec. 15, the story will have to be put on hiatus for a long while. I'm afraid to say that work has been keeping me down from writing new chapters. Also the feeling of there being a lack of people still reading through the story has also affected me from continuing on writing new chapters. But

My Trip to Israel! · 2:47pm Jan 5th, 2014

Hello everypony, I'm back from Israel after a week and a half there and I wanted to tell you guys all about it. It's a little fuzzy for me and I can't remember every detail so bare with me.

We went to Israel with most of our church group there and it was to commemorate my grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary. We arrived there on December 27th late even and spent a the night hotel in Natanya. After that, we started our tour in some of the ruins in one of the old Crusader Cities and went to the top of Muhraka where Elijah and the prophets of Baal challenge each other to see whose god was real. 1 Kings 18:38-40

We sailed across the Galilee sea and went into a museum where they found a boat that was somewhere around the biblical times. They weren't 100% sure who it belonged to. Some say it belonged to Jesus and the disciples, others say that it belonged to fighters from the Migdal battle, and others say that it most likely belonged to fishermen that lived near the sea of Galilee. After that, we then went to the Mensa Christi Church and went to the hometown that Jesus was born, Capharnaum. We also went to see Peter's house where Jesus lived most of the time. Then at the end of the day, we went to the Jordan river where Jesus was baptized by John and me(for the second time) and many others in our group(for the second time also) got baptized in as well.

The next day, we went to several old roman cities that are in ruins, but are still preserved and learned a lot about the culture and how they build their cities. We soon finally went out into the desert part of Israel(turns out that there's a lot of plants and trees in Israel, except for a few places) and saw where they discovered where the dead sea scrolls were. After we did all that, we went to our hotel and tried to swim in the dead sea. The water there actually lifts you up and you just float there. We would have stayed in the water for a long while.....if it wasn't for the fact that it was winter and the water was freezing cold. Although it was funny to see my cousins scream as they were getting in the water slowly.

Then on Thursday, we went to the old fortress of Masada where the remaining Jewish rebels stayed safe, while the Romans tried to break it down. You may have heard of the story, but it was were the Romans laid siege on the fortress for about three months and when they finally broke down the walls and waited the next morning to take the fortress, the Jews there committed suicide in one last act of freedom and desperation from the Romans. The fortress was high on a mountain and we took a tram to get to the top and down.(By the way, my fear of heights kicked in while I was in there.)

In our final days in Israel, we were in the city of Jerusalem and saw all that was there. The city was huge and had stoned walls all around it. We saw all the old temples, ruins, and tried out a pizza place near our hotel. We saw the Temple Mount and looked around the older parts of the city. And one our last day there, we saw the resting place where Jesus was buried.

I had a fun time going there with all my friends and family and hope to one day go back there with my own kids and show them what the land of god has to offer.
