That's weird...

Okay, some of you may be aware that I posted a new story "How I Dated Your Cousin."
But here's the weird thing...
I got no mail saying that my story was accepted, and it's not even on the new story list on the front page.
And here I was, reading comics online when I came back to see a couple of people liked my story.
Is there a reason why I wasn't notified for any of this?
PLEASE TELL ME!

Um… check your settings? Maybe you don't have notifications on? actually, I don't think you're notified if someone just viewed and liked (or disliked) your story.

Hmmm… Maybe your settings are messed up. Maybe it just didn't work out right, so you didn't get notified. Also, stories don't necessarily need to be accepted to be read or commented on etc. You see, your stories can be viewed if you give a link to them, or put them in any groups, or if someone sees them in your favorites, even if they haven't been accepted yet. Here's an example. Here's a story of mine that I haven't written yet. Go on, click the link. You'll be taken to the story even though it's not even a story yet. It might just be that it hasn't been accepted yet. Did you favorite your story, place it in any groups or put any links to it before it was accepted/before you started writing? Another possibility is just that FimFiction derped up and you should just resubmit it. Go to your list of stories. I mean the one under your name. You know, the list that has edit page. Click that and see what color the little circle button next to the story is. If it's been accepted, it should be green. If it's still being reviewed, it should be yellow. If it's red then either an error has occurred or you have yet to submit it. Tell me what you see. I'm sure I can figure it out.
