That new MLP episode….
- The new song DEFINITELY had a Danny Elfman/Nightmare Before Christmas feel to it.
- Loved how Spike was actually considered a member of the group (AJ’s line of “I’ll need all hooves, and claws, for this” really cinched it). The group has definitely upgraded from the “Mane Six” to the “Mane Seven”, something I’m definitely happy about.
- That mid-episode twist…fantastic! Makes me REALLY hope we’ll see a “Fluttershy becomes a dragon” episode after all.
This whole episode was REALLY nicely done. I generally take the show as it is, but it definitely was especially entertaining today.
