    Grumblemumble...

You know those times when you write something, and then go back to rewrite a certain part of that something because you realized that it was kinda dumb as dumb-stuff, but wind up getting completely stalled in the process, and the wind is taken out of your metaphorical sails?

...yeah. That kinda happened. To me.

Bum da daa da duh da dah!

(+Cookie if you guess what the "lyrics" were from)

Hello thar, it's been awhile, hasn't it? Haven't heard a word from me in...like...a while and stuff! I'm just posting to let you know that I've been making good progress with the next chapter. Tentatively I'd like to say that the first draft will be done in the next two weeks so...there's that.

Have a few teeny tiny previews.

    Everything went better than expected!

    Well...you see...

    New computer. Already.

Sweet. Though, now I have all the crap on steam to redownload...

Also, even though I found out that my old man lost his job about an hour after my computer went kaput, it sounds like he's already found a new one (he had an interview yesterday). I guess having more years of experience in his job than I've been alive looks good on a resume.

Um...I have a teeny tiny problem...

...Yeaaaah...You know that computer of mine, that some of you may have noticed me complaining about some? How it's lousy and I wish I had a new one? Well...

    ...um...

It's also the computer I write my stories on and it kind of...um...bricked. Kaput, kablammo, died, bit off more than it could chew, is pushing up daisies.

    This...may be a problem.

So, what didja get for Christmas? · 4:30am Dec 26th, 2013

Merry Christmas, everyminion!

Apparently, I was a good boy this year! I got...SOCKS! Lots and lots of socks...oooh, and candy. That was good too.
...in addition, I got the 3DS Zelda game (yay), along with a copy of Hyrule Historia.

And Santa also put $100 in my checking account, which I promptly blew it all on Steam sales. Capitalism FTW!

*grumble grumble* Ya'know...I feel kinda like a butthole with how long it takes me to update my story. You're all...so...enthusiastic and I'm all like...durrhurr and then stuff...

I mean...one major problem I have is that I tend to form so many ideas...and then I have problems actually turning them into writing. I keep going off tangent, and thinking of future, and even past events in my story rather than what I should be doing at the present. It's even worse when I sometimes have trouble sleeping, my mind is alight with stuff!

Recently I dreamed up an entire scenario detailing the infiltration of the fort and the assassination of Caesar. Personally, I imagine the whole fort being a lot larger and with many more soldiers in it than depicted in game, so a frontal assault would be suicidal. It ends with Caesar being headshot through the wall of his tent, and escaping under cover of darkness.

...also I came up with an alternate Raven Rock quest, in which Fawkes saves your bacon inside the facility, (yaknow, he actually rescues you), and escaping via vertabird when the whole place is blowing up. In ends with being shot down and crashing into the citadel (cuz they mistook you for a bad guy), only to be confused when your daring hero steps out of the wreck.

In addition to that, I recently came up a concept for a ME/FO x-over:
The Lone Wanderer is abducted, though instead of those weird green men, it's either Batarians or Blood Pack, looking to make a quick credit: This could go two ways:
A. The Wanderer overpowers and kills them all, stealing the ship in the process. They either take it on a joyride and accidentally contact the council, or one of the council races comes to Earth to investigate suspicious activity, either way stuff happens.
-or-
B. The Wanderer is defeated, enslaved, and dragged off to...somewhere (Khar'Shan?) and sold as either an exotic pet or an elite bodyguard. They spend the next x years (at least 10) planning their escape. I find that this one to be...more interesting mostly because it gives them more of an opportunity to learn about the galaxy, so they actually have an idea as what to do. Eventually, the plan is carried out, which in the end involves them escaping in a most spectacular way. Not only does s/he kill their "masters" (delivering a badass one liner in the process) but beforehand steals pretty much their entire fortune, and burns everything to the ground before taking to the stars. In the end, the Wanderer deliberately goes to a location in which the Asari (because the Wanderer is more knowledgeable about the galaxy...) would find them. They do, and stuff happens.

Feel free to use either of those if you're bored! The concept of a Mass Effect/Fallout x-over intrigues me...and ff.net is sadly lacking in ones that I actually liked. I could probably count them on one hand...

...see? I'm rambling again.
*grumble* I think I'll end this with something that annoys me.
This applies to real life as well, but I find it ridiculous when someone deliberately spells someon's name oddly (With the exception of the band LIMOZEEN!)under the impression that it makes them look unique or special, when in reality all it does is make them look pretentious. A few years back, I remember that someone named their kid "Fayth". What the hell is wrong with "Faith?" I could probably think of more, but...

Have some Christmas Pones (Yes I know that it's a year old)

And a Christmas Chryssy!

Now...sit and laugh at 2013! Its days are numbered!

I got a 32 inc tv and Walking Dead comics.

Socks, money, a new North-face Winter coat, some pants, undies, and some shoes! Oh and candy!!!!!! And my suggestion for your update problem is possibly doing a vote? Ask your readers don't give up what is going to happen just some directions you wish explore and hopefully it helps you make up your mind.

Regarding the new story ideas I enjoy your writing style so I am probably going to like it one way or another regardless of the direction you choose.

I totally understand how you feel about the ideas thing. You might not find it on fimfic, but mosey over to ff.net and you'll find that I have far too many ideas and no writing for them...

Merry Christmas Explodium! May your year end with a bang!

(HAHAYOUSEEWHATIDIDTHAR)

I watched the Chrismas carol the one with Jim carry, anyway hope you enjoy your socks and presents and be sure to have a Happy Holiday.

I got a lot of candy and movies. Hope you had a merry Christmas!

I gots me $140, some candy, four books (Jam, Parallel Worlds, The Book Thief, and Cooked), an A's hoodie, LEGO Big Ben, and a quadrotor. Wish I had some missiles so I could pretend I'm Obama.

I got $100 in my Steam account.

I've only spent three dollars so far, on Faster Than Light. That game is fantastic!

I got a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee!

(Just kidding, I got aftershave and a used toothbrush.)

Call of Duty: Ghosts, Assassin's Creed 4, new headphones, and the Luigi edition of the 3DS XL. That's the major stuff.

sold as either an exotic pet or an elite bodyguard.

an exotic pet or an elite

exotic pet

......

Why not fighter of the ring? 2-x nr of people fighting each other for survival, for the amusement of the "masters" or people or watevah.

I sorta received a PlayStation 3 and some cheepy games for it, but really it was a gift to the household (This is my first PS3, and yes I know it's been out for 5 years or so.)

Personally, I got a water skin, candy, medical super glue, a specially shaped cookie tray that's designed to make donuts, sunglasses, a DVD containing 20 public domain Sci-Fi films, and a hat.

I'm especially happy with my water skin, DVD, and hat which have made drinking water, watching TV, and wearing clothing all the more entertaining.

I like how your Zecora avatar looks like she's pointing at the lower statement in parenthesis. That, and her facial expression, really cement the whole "just kidding, look down here" theme of your comment.
