Breeding Chapter 2 preview

The battle had moved out of the inner ring almost instantly. The force from the blast made a reactive force blow everything out the ring. The rest of the gang members flew away from the scene hoping not to get caught in the cross fire. High Roller was unfortunately sent tumbling into a tree behind him.

Cloudy quickly took off to the skies. Her opponent although not able to fly naturally held his ground against the concussive force that pulled others away. She circled around her opponent in the skies charging up her energy. Waiting for him to do a move, She watched if he was up to anything. The only thing that he was doing was moving his head around quickly. He supped up his own energy.

Now seemed the time to attack before he could execute his plan. She converted her energy to a volley of magic blasts. The blasts came down like lighting towards their target, but at the last second checkmate started his move.

Speeding past the barrage of blasts, Checkmate zipped up to a tree launched into the air. Checkmate soaring high in the sky from his rest moves started to climb even higher in the air and move around.

Cloudy Skies was stunned. Snapping out of it, she sent more blast his way hoping to knock down the unicorn. Checkmate outlasted all of the blasts coming towards him by swiftly dodging the incoming assault. Cloudy Skies couldn't even register what was happening, but when she looked closely she began to see what was actually. He was pushing himself around by launching energy around. The unicorn was moving around in the sky. Every one of his movements came as a sudden burst through out the sky. Cloudy Skies' revelation hit her in full force.

The unicorn was using magic to fly around in the sky.

Cloudy Skies ultimately shook off her sudden shocked expression to notice that he was charging straight for her. Cloudy formed an aura around her. He was a few meters close when she shot out a blast towards him. Now caught off guard, he flew straight into the blast; the force that hit him set him spiraling towards the ground.

Cloudy Skies still on the offensive dived down after her predator turned prey. Checkmate while unable to stop himself from falling slowly regained his holding. He began collecting energy into his hooves. He quickly scanned his environment. The angle he was falling, the mare speeding towards him, the trees, the ground all key aspects towards his next set of movements. He gathered more energy into him while focusing on the mare coming after him. he thought of how well the plan could be executed.
