I don't want to give out information here... Because obviously you're all going to use it against me. It's alright, I live in a cardboard box and I move it around a lot, so you'll never be able to.

This site has not been good to me

For some reason my computer had a big spat with this site and kept me from getting on it at all for the better part of a month. I honestly don't know what went wrong, but it's fixed now. This is extra annoying to me because I was making a lot of progress on everything and was then forced to stop. I probably could have written it in word or something, but the formatting after that for me has

So here is a representation of Dash and Jason's route (taken from the chapter A bit of Familiarity)

I went ahead and made a map with the points of interest marked, so you guys could kinda see how the route looks.

Where they started, following Market Street to the Eastern Coast of the Peninsula.

And this blog post indicates that I'm back (or should be, anyway)

So, those two weeks are over. It's about time. So now I should be able to coast along and write, which will be nice. I don't like keeping you people waiting on these chapters, and while my absence around here for the past two weeks was mostly unavoidable, I still don't like the lack of ideas moving into type form. Hopefully I don't forget stuff or get stuck trying to pick back up on these

You people deserve a definitive blog post to explain everything schedule related in the coming months.

So as usual, I haven't had a whole lot of updates going. I can at least call the reason out, and say when things should get better. I have AP testing coming up soon (first week of May), and if you're not in the US you have no idea what they are (because they could be called something else idk), they're basically year-end tests where you attempt to test out of the class for college. Either way,

It's been quite a while. Also, new story.

I've not updated my stuff in a long time, and I apologize. It sucks, and I'm a crappy writer in that respect. I don't understand how I got stuff out so quickly when I started.

The general information stuff that developed into an off topic set of paragraphs · 5:05am Dec 19th, 2013

So, I'll begin this with my usual writing update. I've got a chapter done of the Ecstasy of Defeat and such, but I'll create another blog entry for that. Unsurprisingly, the mods were caught completely by surprise when people started abusing stuff they added. God, it just keeps repeating around here.

Anyway, I've got about two thousand words written for The Winds of Change, and I kinda know how my writing works now. I usually just tap out a bunch over the span of a few days when I procrastinate with homework, like now for instance, or when I'm bored of playing Xbox (obviously, I'm not including the times when I'm away from home, which actually happen). Speaking of Xbox, it was a ghost town last weekend. Apparently a lot of people have finals this week.

But back on topic. I've really enjoyed some of the ideas you people come up with. Sometimes I think it may as well be you writing this. I digress. I'd like to offer some sort of length characteristic on this thing. It's probably going to be the same length as Fog of War, I think. Maybe shorter. But I've got two obvious story arks, plus one juxtaposed fairly soon that should come as a complete and total surprise. A certain reader will stare, and then ask why I confirmed it towards the middle of the last story to use it only now. If I said the name, I'd effectively be giving things away without being cryptic, and that's no fun. If you're clever and want to read through every comment, you could probably figure out everything that's going to happen. But then again, do you really want to ruin the surprise?

I've insisted that this will be the most interesting book in the saga, and that keeps becoming more true. Things happen. Things that will make you wonder about not only the reality you believed to be true, but how that little dent in your car got there. Seriously, how did that- never mind. It's classified.

In other news, I just created my twentieth story. At least five or so will go nowhere, and were just ideas I wrote down, for whatever use I could make of them. A few others were written down because they were actually strokes of genius, that I won't be able to extrapolate on. One was a clopfic like the one I released a while ago, and actually spun in a direction completely differently from the way I expected it to go. I swear to god, when I'm writing these characters, they have a mind of their own. Anyway, the title that'll get changed is currently: "Button's Mom has romantic, marital sex with her husband and not her son, because that would be weird." But then they had to develop personalities. Scoff.

This brings up a funny thing about writing. I never plan things out explicitly, because I never know how the characters will act. I just write them in, and I'm like "No, Jason wouldn't do that," and then I write it differently. I just throw the characters into situations, and then they do stuff. It's so badly planned out that it shouldn't work, but I feel like it does. I've got a huge chunk of personality that's been developed into the characters, which is probably why I have trouble with canon characters. Ah, well. I got off on a strange tangent here, but yeah. It was a nice way to pass time.

TL;DR: I got shit done. New chapter might come out ahead of my current pace.

Speaking of, would you guys care about a chapter to read on Christmas? I can make that happen, probably, if it'd be something any of you would want me to do. Of course, explosions and such aren't really in the Christmas spirit, but that's okay…

It told me to avoid enormous images but that was huge. I'm such a rebel.

First! But anyway, you don't HAVE to, I'm sure as long as there's an update at all, people wont care if it's on Christmas or not, most people have better things to do then be on FimFiction on Christmas, like family and friends, PLUS messing with all the new toys, gadgets, and games we're going to get.

There I maxed 'em out for you.

Man, your writing style sounds almost identical to mine. One obvious difference though: I'm lazy and almost never focus on writing. I've attempted to write two stories (both side stories to existing stories, so half the work is already done for me), and the first I gave up when my notepad got wet, the second I wrote like 300-400 words, then just keep forgetting to go back to. Really wish I had your drive (and creativity).

As for chapters over Xmas, I wouldn't be against that, but as someone else said, family things. I probably wouldn't get to read it till the Friday when I'm back at work. Yea, I know, I should be working, but meh.

And for your other story you're hinting at, imma leave that be till it comes out. I like the suspense :)

Keep doing what you're doing, and I'll be right here stalk- I mean following your stories till the end

As much as I want to read the next chapter, I will be out of town for Christmas and I probably won't have access to a computer and if I do when will I have time to read it.
