Some recent short stories I thought were fine:
The Never-Was and Wouldn't-Be by Obselescence: This is an idea-heavy, all-dialogue story about Discord & Twilight, and the difference between chaos and harmony, but the ideas and the dialogue are so clever you won't even mind. You may find some logical holes if you poke hard enough, but a story is not a mathematical proof. That it makes over-analysis seem exciting is accomplishment enough.
Daring Do and the Dance by Georg: A disposable minion falls in love with Daring Do. Usually their "dances" end with him in the hospital.
Home by RBDash47: This guy whom we know for promoting the stories of others can write! A little bit like "Twilight Sparkle Makes a Cup of Tea". In this case, Applejack bakes a pie. Its main weakness is that the story will make you want to read how it came from RBDash47's real life, and that blog is more interesting than the story.
Roaming. Some story by some guy named Skywriter. As horizon noted, feels like a sequel to "Home".
Aw, thanks Baddie.
Also just noticed your holiday hat. Ho ho ho!
Thanks for the signal boost!
Thanks for the reference, BH. I promise my next story will be even more Evil and Diabolical than this one. Oh, wait. Next two in the queue are Hearth’s Warming Eve’s stories. Um. I’ll work on it.
