Situations I cannot articulate accurately · 12:30am Dec 9th, 2013

When you cry at church and your mother snaps at you, pinches you, or punches you, because she’s tired of you humiliating yourself in font of her friends.
When you put forth an honest effort on a project and your mother won’t acknowledge it’s validity as ‘work’ because you’re doing all of it on a computer, with headphones, by yourself.
When you feel absolutely miserable and no-one stops to give a shit unless they want to say “buck up.”
When you’ve been through a hard day-week-month-SCHOOLYEAR and everything that anyone promises to you to cheer you up or make it better is either a lie or something they’ll forget about within a few months.
When you get in trouble for crying about something very important to you on an otherwise perfect birthday.
When you’re given two options to solve a problem and neither is correct, so you lose all your pr
ivileges that you were told to use to find the appropriate third answer.
When you live in a city with no job opportunities that either interest you or correspond with your limited skillset, and your mother disagrees without giving any suggestions as to what you could do (and then forces you to work for no pay at a church run datacenter).
When you have trouble connecting with anyone and your parents think the answer to that problem is to force you into the wilderness with homophobic bigots and their children until something clicks.
When you explain tactfully why you don’t want to play string instruments and your parents buy you an electric ukulele ($70) for Christmas anyway, and subsequently punish you for not liking it.
When you have Dysgraphia and your parents sit there explaining to you why the sketch kit your relatives gave you, based on their suggestion, was the best thing you got that year.
When anything you spend time doing on the computer is considered a distraction. Even when you’re asked to use the computer for school or jobsearching or projects.
When your parents allow your siblings to bully you because you “deserve it.”
When your arguments aren’t engaged because who the fuck knows.
When making a list like this would get you maimed at best, disregarded at worst.

This might help.

If you can get through the next few years without letting the bad shit fuck you up mentally, you'll be free, and young, which is the best thing in life.

I believe the word you are looking for is "unjust."
