    Star Wars: Republic Commando

Before about 2300 hours last night, I hadn't played SW:RC in literal years (beyond the one-level demo the Classic X-Box got for placing a certain movie into the disk tray). Then, because of Steam Family Sharing with my brother, I was able to download the game, and play through the entire campaign in one run - and despite being on medium, I never had my whole squad down once (we certainly came

Yup, got a story idea that's gnawing the fates to get out - so I'm going to unleash a demon from the lair of Hades...

I can't stol it any longer - I /have/ to write a Tony Stark in Equestria fanfic, because nopony can resist the swagger of a certain genious billionaire playboy philanthropist that any Iron Man / The Avengers fan knows and loves...

    New Story Idea?!

So, a few of my friends (Dasubur and WhitePony44, to name a few) gave me the inspiration for a new story concept, that escapades a twisted history to the fabled Physics-Busting Pinkamena Diane Pie. If you want a hint to what the story will entail, the only hint that I will give is to: look at my new icon image. It describes a few of the details that will be portrayed upon - and played upon -

Yup, got a story idea that's gnawing the fates to get out - so I'm going to unleash a demon from the lair of Hades... · 7:40am Dec 7th, 2013

I can't stol it any longer - I /have/ to write a Tony Stark in Equestria fanfic, because nopony can resist the swagger of a certain genious billionaire playboy philanthropist that any Iron Man / The Avengers fan knows and loves...

And I do plan to have all 41 surviving Mark - variants of the suit there, with this fic's storline transpiring post - Iron Man 3, but with the suits either 1.) Outright surviving the House Party, and subsequent Clean Slate, protocals usdd in the movie; or 2.) being rebuilt by Tony afterwards much quicker, knowing already how to build each suit. I also plan to have both Mark I & II variants (mark I was used by Rhody Rhodes in Iron Man 2, mark II is just Iron Patriot without the tacky shit-for-a-name and a lack of the stars and red stripes - just left as the solid 'Mmurica blue with Gunmetal Grey accents and the Red Stark Reactor unibeam color from mark I - that was reverted back to yellow by the US Gov't after updating to the shit-version) of the War Machine armor in Tony's Hall of Armors, because they're just that BAMF in my book. Yes, Tony (as by Marvel's canonized info releases), between 2 and 3, got the blueprints for the update of the Mark II to War Machine Mark I version, as well as later recieving a contract to create the War Machine Mark II armor, allowing hi mm free reign in the suit's design process - meaning he knows how to - and can if he chooses to - make more of the suits if he wants to. But anyways, I lol at the the thought of Tony popping up through a chichéd portal made by a sonic rainboom while in flight, causing Dashie to get butthurt and attemlt to assert dominance via a race - but while trying to catch the flying übermensch be shocked by its extreme speed and lack of facial expressions, meaning she goes berzerker and tries to take him down as a freaky alien needing to be locked up. This causes her to hit him with lightning from a storm cloud nearby, ending with a move that anyone can and should remember from the Avengers from between Thor and Iron Man's Mark VII suit...

I also lol at the thought of Twilight - quite literally - releasing the nerdgasm to end all nerdgasms when she meats J.A.R.V.I.S. That moment, IMHO, could only end in greatness....Now pardon me while I go finish pulling my inadvertently-started all-nighter before my SAT test in the morning, because who gives two shits about a test that will only determine just how successful the rest of your life will be - most certainately not me, thank you.

No, in all seriousness, I don't give enough shits to exchange for a fuck about that test at all, tis just another pointless test in this pointless school system residing inside this pointless state conglomerating into this pointless nation squatting off of this pointless world to support a pointless society preaching for pointless goals to achieve pointless results from said pointless goals. We're just another speck of nanodust to the appearance of any other speck of nanodust in the eyes of this universe - so why must we be forced to give up our lives to attend pointless schooling to perform pointless work for pointless pay, trying to find the pointless silver lining to find the pointless reasoning to support our pointless lives that help to comprive this pointless society..... One could say that I'm having an existential crisis right now, but I think that others are stuck in a paradoxial loop of mitigaged existencial crises that has occurred for so long through humanity's history that others have just become attuned to thinking that those thoughts are just part of humanity's core thought process and/or have unknowingly isolated that thought loop away to entertain less of a depressive concious and/or sense of worthlessness in the eyes of either the galactic, or to a greater extent universal, community this planet is a part of..... but meh, to each their own, I guess....

I certainly did enjoy the old Iron Man films, One, Two and Tree; when they came out on disc in the store here.
I did never fall for the larger show, in part due to how some of them are interpreted in the modern version. I prefer the old Hulk from the films I saw back in the day.
On that note, I do enjoy the Initiative you see in the Iron Man film. I am in fact working on a Ponified version staring of all Ponies, Pinkie Pie.

I have no idea of what all the stats and specs mean in your description, but I imagine I can enjoy the show either way.

On that note, I guess I kind of wish I could have the opportunities he had. Just imagine what one could do with the resources, if you had an idea of something you wanted to do?

I am 100% with you on the analysis of the society such as I see it outside every day. All the pointless tasks, just to satisfy the Game leader.
