So. This... this is awkward. Um. Hello, again, I guess. Uh.
So you might've noticed I haven't updated since August, and haven't really done like, anything at all regarding my stories. Guess it's time to do something about that?
I haven't wrote Rise, like, literally at all. I wrote a rough draft or two of the next chapter, but nothing really happened. It sucked. Reading through the story again, well, I'm just thinking to myself, what exactly happened here? In my own opinion, the story was crazy boring and unrealistic, yet there it was getting praise and favorites. There's too many accidental plotholes, and the story just seems cluttered. Too many things happening at once, pulling things out of my ass, etc. This is probably because I didn't actually think the story through at the beginning-- which I now see that I should've. I could try again, to write the rest of the story, really I do want to, but, I don't know. I've came up with something that could maybe be good: Starting fresh. I've been messing around with the idea of a brand new story, starting it over again, changing things and not just putting random event after event, and such. Like it should have been in the first place. Or, I could just say 'screw it', and finish the current Rise, although I don't have the motivation like I did at the beginning.
So I thought I would ask to you, the readers: What would you rather see? I know there are some people who actually do like the story, but I know I could do better as a new story, a reboot I suppose. But I will still continue Rise as is, if that is what you guys think is better! Just give me some time. (To be honest, I'm gonna need time on both ends.)
Now. Equestrian Visitors. I-- I- I don't- no. Just... no. I honestly doubt there's many people who like that, and I just straight-up hate it, and, well, I'm sorry to say but that is going to be cancelled. I may even delete, but for now, the story is Cancelled and will not be finished anytime soon. It's sad, I really liked the idea of it, maybe I'll do it again in the future, but for now, it's just Rise on my mind.
I suppose that's all. Thanks for reading, and remember to comment: Should I continue Rise, in which the story is still cluttered with plotholes and such but is closer to completion, or start anew, and make a hopefully better story while taking a much longer time to get to where Rise currently is. Again, thanks for reading!
