Sombra and Rainbow Dash?
Hmmmmmm...
She is out flying around and being awesome, and she finds him alone in some remote area. Being Rainbow Dash (unlike being Fluttershy) she prepares to attack him like any good guy would, only to discover, to her shock, he's barely alive. Being tough, she doesn't instantly look to save him, but also being a reasonably decent pony, she doesn't really want to leave him there to die. So she takes him to the nearest hospital (Cloudsdale? Ponyville? Crystal Empire? Wherever.) and tells them to take care of him and notify the Royal Guard. She keeps track of his condition, and as he heals, she starts feeling decidedly un-awesome around him, and when he finds out she was the mare who saved him, their relationship starts to alter.
As for Lyra and Bon Bon, I don't know either of them well enough, but I can do Octavia and Vinyl Scratch.
Octavia is a very high-brow, very refined, very cultured pony who enjoys the upper class. Vinyl is, well, Vinyl. I don't think a better case can be made then simply "Vinyl is Vinyl."
