"New" story: Schweigen Ist Folter · 3:33am Nov 16th, 2013

So, apparently I'm going to start off my October story posting extravaganza with all the reliability of a bureaucracy: by re-releasing something no one's heard of in the middle of November.

It's a great plan, what can go wrong?

Anyway, self deprecation aside, Schweigen ist Folter is now live and public. It's an extremely bittersweet story, both in its contents and in my own personal feelings towards it, but a few people have told me they enjoy it. If you've an open mind and like my writing, chances are you will, too. So why not give it a read?

While I'm rambling, I'd like to give a huge shout-out and special thanks to Gaiascope. He's been doing a lot of art for me recently, and given how he worked diligently to create the cover art for Schweigen in a time-constrained manner, he's been more than accommodating not only to my needs, but for my whims as well.

In terms of my other writing projects, I'm still working on the vignettes. Two of them need extensive revision, and I'm also getting some cover art made for them (also through Gaiascope). I apologize for the delay, but I will also work to make sure my stories are worth it.

Having seen that so long ago, I'm surprised you're just releasing it now. :O

I wanted some art for it first.

New or not, this is piercing stuff. I'm really glad I got to read it! You're a fantastic author, and I feel lucky whenever I can see something new from you.

If I had to pick one thing to expand on, I'd like to see more of their interactions before the confession. Obviously you're pressed for space in a short story, but it'd be good to understand more of what their original relationship was like.

I need to go back through your other stories to see how it all turned out. Though, since I expect the answer is "not well", I might wait on that a while.

Thanks again for releasing this! I hope to see more from you soon.
