04. Hey again! · 8:49am Nov 11th, 2013
So, after my undeclared hiatus, I'm back and primed to start writing FIMFics again. Truth is, I've been busy with school, work, and to be completely honest - gaming. Yeah, gaming. Though, you'll be delighted to hear (probably not) that I've picked up a few composition classes along the way since I halted writing and stopped at the current chapter of Croitre; I reread the story and I'm actually surprised I wrote that. It's rather cringe-worthy if I can be blunt. It's not unlike seeing your old drawings from primary school - but rather me laugh at myself and dwell in the past about how relatively rough my writing was, I'm seeing it as an opportunity to start new. Ironically, despite me saying this, I'm going to be re-writing the story Serenity, which has been renamed to Taken in Stride. If you don't remember what the hell I'm talking about - I don't expect you to - here's something to jog your memory.
"I’ve got a bad habit. And it isn’t something I can control. I will put up a bold front, and verbally abuse people for no reason. My name is Vinyl Scratch. I know not when or why this developed... Sometime after I left Canterlot three years ago, when I quit being a DJ, I think. I have adapted to common life since... This... This is my bad habit."
Still don't remember? Pick up on it now, I'm going to be releasing chapters at least twice a week - I promise for real this time! Not like I've anything else better to do; most of my time these days are filled up with either homework, studying, or Guild Wars 2 / League of Legends. Thus, I'm not busy. Ever. Also, is it a blow to my masculinity if I admit that I love Taylor Swift and some of her music?
Anyway, thanks for reading this (really, I hope anyone at all is actually reading this) and I hope you'll enjoy what I've got to churn out to you guys.
