SWEET MERRY MOTHER OF GOD IT'S FINALLY DONE!!
Yes! As most/some/none of you already know, I've spent the better end of a year whining/complaining/bitching about the rewrite I was working on for Live by the Creed. Well, the day has finally arrived where I've finally, FINALLY, finished the f*cking thing. Granted, it may have practically taken an entire week of nothing but writing, but to my somewhat deteriorated mind, it was all worth it in the end. Now, of course, with this rewrite comes a few key changes, changes that would lead to some confusion without proper context. Granted, most, if not all, of the changes occur within the first five chapters, so if you wish to reread anything, those chapters will get you up to speed. The chapters following those remain virtually untouched, however, save for some tweaks made here and there in order to avoid glaring plot holes. If you don't feel like reading it, no worries. I have the largest changes listed below.
After all of this work, I can only hope that you all enjoy the newer version. Thank you for sticking around for as long as you have. I truly appreciate it.

* The original concept behind the Animus-like spell has been removed. Instead of the spell requiring ordinary enchanted candles arranged in a circle, it only requires one, albeit a very special one carefully constructed from an extremely precise amount of rare ingredients. This allows for more flexibility in the spell's use as the story progresses. Also, it is only compatible with the relatives of Shadow Streak (aka. Rainbow Dash), narrowing down the number of ponies that can be affected by it.
* Star Light and her allies have a much more prominent presence earlier on in the story. This will affect certain pieces of dialogue both presently and later on in the story. I'm mentioning this only to avoid future confusion.
* Probably the largest change made in the rewrite: Rainbow's parents do not make an appearance in Chapter 3, nor do they show up anywhere else in the story thus far. As such, any mention of them so far has been removed, unless it was part of the rewrite. In fact, in the new version, there are plans for Rainbow to meet with them for the first time after the events in Hoofington. And yes, it is a very, very big deal.
And that should just about cover the major changes made in the story. If there's anything that I forgot to mention, or anything that confuses you, please let me know and I'll see if I can't clear the air about it. Thank you.
