Skip the formalities. Throw away the ceremonies. This blog post will not beat around the bush at all.
In exactly one week (Nov 11), I turn 20. Now, I know a good bit of you are well passed that age but it's still very strange to me to be completely out of the teenage section. Sure, technically I've been an adult for 2 years now (4 in the UK), but I also know that life hasn't changed that much for me. Sure, I'm in college now, but it's still school and I still have a job and I'm still chasing women and when you get right down to it, it's the same ole' song and dance.
But this is different. I've been studying business since I walked onto campus and the more time I put into it, the more I don't like it. Being a musician, I always dreamed of two things. One was to play music professionally. The other was to own a guitar shop. The second isn't even a dream anymore. I just don't want to do that anymore. Playing/writing/performing/composing/producing music is what I want to do. So as of right now, I'm switching my majors from business administration to music composition. It's a rough change but I've been wanting to pursue music professionally for a long time and I couldn't imagine myself being happy without doing this. The point of this is that a ton of things in my life are changing right now and I'll need some time to adjust for all of this. I could even move because of my changed major. Your patience will be greatly appreciated.
I also just quit my day job. Yeah that's right, no more retail for me. That doesn't mean I can do more stories, it just means I can focus on school. You know the drill.
I've started my hand at simple animation so that might take up a bit of my time, though since I am terrible at it, it won't take too long to give up on it ;)
And if you haven't noticed, Mind of a Princess is back in production and my editor is back in business. (Fanfare) I'll have a one-shot for my birthday soon enough and other than that I promise nothing. I'm still serious about the viewer-requested story idea I put in my last blog so when I hit 10 watchers, I'll do that as well.
