After a long (and I mean very long) absence from the site, I have finally returned and have started writing for all of my incomplete fics. So far I have posted updates for The Toymaker and Snips Clips Barbershop. Next up on my list is an update for Dr. Discord's Seussiful Equestrian Adventure! But as usual, I have a hard time deciding which of Dr. Seuss' wonderful stories

So it's pouring rain outside and my body decides that 7 AM is the perfect time to wake up on a rainy Sunday morning. None of you know me very well, but I LOVE to sleep in when it's raining. Anyway, for some unholy reason, my body thinks Screw sleep, I need to burn some unnecessary calories! On the other hand, my brain just looks out the window and thinks,
Alright, those of you who know me from around here know that I am involved with quite a few groups. Well, now it's time to try to expand those groups, and I could really use your help. The ones posted listed in my Bio are groups that I am an Admin for. Those groups are doing pretty well and could use your support, but there are a few others that have slid through the cracks.

1468731 Oops. I forgot about that. I'm sure you have other holidays that we in the States don't get to celebrate. Heck, even in the States we have holidays independent of each other. You're going to see a huge post from me when Mardi Gras rolls around, even though only a handful of people on this site have ever been.
1468967 It is a huge holiday in southern Louisiana. The state was at different times owned by the French and the Spanish before the US purchased it. It means "Fat Tuesday" because it is a day of celebration before Ash Wednesday. (Roman Catholic roots are deeper here than anywhere else in the American South.)
Most iconicly, it is remembered for the explosion of color, the huge parades that block off entire cities, the wanton debauchery, and general controlled vice before the most somber of seasons. It's almost exactly the same as the Venetian Carnival.
